Well was the dreaded mot today unfortuneatly all was not good had 2 fails for rear sills offside and nearside or as it says on fail sheet structure has damage which adversely affects braking or steering have been quoted £200 by local garage to do the welding required for the mot but at end of the day could of been worse i suppose

You could try powerflow exhausts in East Calder they make up custom exhausts prices not to bad either

hi all i have a 1999 non turbo. My mpg is not what i would class as great i can easily get through 1/4 tank doing my 50 miles a week going to work. i have changed air filter fuel filter and lambda sensor. The car is fitted with a exhaust which runs straight through from the manifold section to the backbox pipe appears quite sooty. Would it maybe be an idea to get the fuel mixture checked? any help would be appreciated Graeme

Not sure if this in right place but needed some work done on my car found localish garage where the boy that runs was great even had subaru tattoo on his arm lol. So if anybody in scottish borders needs some work done on their car would recommend ashkirk garage anytime
