  1. just in case anyone hasnt stuck their head into events Andy (tps scoob) has stuck up a post saying theres a few of us going to watch the new fast and furious film at ocean terminal tomorrow night so a chance for an off the cuff meet if anyone else fancies it, bit of banter and watch the film, maybe even some takeaway after
  2. welcome to the club at last! now get some pics up! and we mean the car not you Gus i can confirm that Scott does indeed have his own very fine shirt as approved by me

  6. Ciaran, whats your record for managing to keep an impreza running? 3 weeks? Brian, thats a great idea - especially if we dont tell Tam, just imagine his face as we all get out wearing pink bathrobes
  7. gutted - but really if you were too scared to go up against all these lardy newages you just had to say....
  8. holy crap, did they ruin your gorgeous asbo exhaust Andy? hope not, that would be gutting
  9. the theme this year is not losing anyone en route for a change...... after last years dismal take up of the hawiian shirt theme i havent planned anything, but if anyone wants to suggest one.... also, not too late to sign up!!! still a few rooms left at the norseman and plenty in inverness
  10. as above there are guys who have been perfectly happy with them, think it depends on the batch of blanks Ian gets and how hard you use the brakes i am hard on brakes and my blanks definitely came from china, possibly the pad choice was wrong for the discs but they just havent suited me - if id recieved more help when buying or any sort of help when i wasnt happy with their performance id have a different viewpoint, but you pays your money and takes your chances.
  11. godspeeds discs arent brembo - he buys cheap discs from china and cuts the grooves into them, the ones i got were originally destined for a saab 9000 as pattern parts. i certainly wouldnt buy from him again and i know plenty of others on here who agree
  12. awesome, just awesome mate - cant wait to see her at some shows this year
  13. depends what your doing with the car mate, for road use id go with original discs, fast road pad like a mintex 1144 and braided hoses - otherwise step up to bigger calipers or pukka 2 piece discs like DBA or performance friction but theyre 900 quid for pads and discs!
  14. hiya mate, nice spoiler and nice motor - 1.6's can shift, ask anyone who saw the fastone in his 'shed'! if you are wanting to go down the bigger engine route then as others have said, buying a turbo and making it look like a sport would be much cheaper in the long run and still give you the sleeper look
  15. the white was done by subaru mate pink stars is the way forward Andy - or hawaiian flowers.....
  16. Andy whatve you done???? think i preferred it plain but il reserve judgement til i see it in the flesh - however i do wonder whats next after the asbo exhaust then this - pink stars and a horn that screams chase me chase me!!!
  17. well he's done a deal with them, a black 03 blobeye sti, touchscreen double din headunit, triple gauges on the dash and piaa spotlights in the bumper anyone recognise it? and do i get credit for converting an evo fan to scoobydom?
  18. might also be worth giving RA motorsport a ring for a price to compare too as theyre not too far from you either. i always use them for my car but still ring other places for a price just to make sure
  19. glad to hear they could help you out - shame it hasnt fixed it but at least pointed you in the right direction!
  20. yea its definitely choochter town lol, train to inverness is the way for nights out
  21. yea burgy thats aird motors in Beauly - 2 minutes from my dads house
  22. see what you mean about the detail mate - looks like a clean car though and i hope the number comes with it!
  23. hi mate, try Bitz motorsport in Nairn - nice run up over the back roads from aviemore too theres also dicksons in inverness, nissan now but still subaru approved service or aird motors in beauly, but id try bitz first, they do discount for club members too
  24. too many pensioners to dodge, i just treat them as speed bumps
