  1. good work mate! good price for that year too, i know i advised an sti but you wont be dissapointed - now get some pics up and start saving for the mods
  2. yea, hatch owners conspiracy shocker!!! cheers Bobby, its ok if i pay in diet coke isnt it?
  3. got to say depends on what your using it for Paul, for me itd probably be the spec c but then my cars a toy these days, as an everyday car for family duties and to still put a smile on your face and embarras stuff the hatch. having followed Glyn up to Alford on his standard suspension hatch it did seem pretty damn well planted or quite possibly option c, hatch jdm pec c complete with 8k redline, mmmmmmm thought you were getting the hawk boosted up to big boys league though?
  4. depends on the turbo Lewis, md 321 or equivalent 1400-1700, injectors 300, fpr, remap, fitting - i reckon 2500 - 3k and im sure you said you heard of a type r for that sort of cash.... yea Paul when i had mine mapped Andy Forrest said that was the injectors pretty much maxed out i think youve the solution there Bobby - just you hold onto it for another 18 months and il give you a list of mods for you to do in that time and it would appear that the polls been nobbled in favour of hatches, wonder how that happened.....
  5. welcome along mate - usually i tell folks to cut up their credit cards before the modding bug bites but guess its too late for you!
  6. nice try but they wont fit yours 100pcd boy im surprised , you lot arent as shallow as you seem - i was expecting option 3 from everyone..... option 1 makes the most sense but when i started adding up the turbo, injectors mapping etc i realised i could have a reasonable classic for the same money and keep the blob for everyday madness.... Barry what else did you change with your turbo? injectors, fpr? drop me a goat if you want o and option 3 IS happening at some point this year if i can figure out where to put it so i can still squeeze in the bouncy castle.....
  7. yea that does look a nice one, and nightmares right as nice as a uk300 is it isnt a sti....
  8. due to an opportunity thatss arisen im asking for opinions from the floor on how to spend a set amount of cash - option 1- finally finish my blobeye with full monty big turbo 400 odd hp 2- buy a classic for dedicated track use 3- i cant handle what ive got already so splash out on a hot tub and sidc summer bbqks at mine
  9. which model? there was a blobeye which had some nice stickers and seats but mechanically the same as a wrx and theres the bug which i believe got ppp and some very nice spoilers/headlights/wheels - in fact probably the only bug id have, really nice car
  10. all in good time Ciaran.... saw the rallye in perth yesterday btw, all fixed up and looking smart Paul i picked them up on here from a member who'd sold his car, the kit new is 1800 quid!
  11. every last one sold? not so sure - i think every last one is registered but thats a different story - was at least 3 for sale on pistonheads this afternoon from dealers with delivery mileage.....
  12. didnt see it but im with Kevin - if i was buying a new sti itd be a litchfield sepcial and a nice chunk of cash in my pocket! be interesting to see a face to face between them though - make a nice true grip article Stu
  13. looking good Euan! you did a good job with the painting, look well tidy once your summer wheels and suspension are back on let me know how you find the blue stuff - im planning to run 1144's or similar for road too
  14. there is pads Paul but theyre pretty far down - as im a cheap skate i bought them 2nd hand but with very little use havent tried pagids before, whatre they like for wear/noise/cold starts? and Del as if your lardy ass could get anywhere near my bumper
  15. ok, ok here you go - calipers first then the discs, used but less than 1mm of wear bit thicker than standard nope, aint fitting under 17's - this is the discs against the standard wheels
  16. got home yesterday to find my new brakes had arrived - 6 pot AP racing calipers with 360mm discs cant wait to get them fitted, but first i need to decide on what pads to use, havent been too impressed with the ds2500's ive got on just now, and also whether to change the colour from black and yellow to brembo gold and red for full stealth marks
  17. good luck Paul, flat four doesnt keep stock, one man band who only sells online, when you order from him he orders it in and forwards it to it you - if your lucky. i used him once and took me 3 months to get rear discs and pads, theres people on here who ordered whole engines and paid for them without ever getting them and had to take legal action to get the money back - in short dont touch them!!! RA supplies cosworth parts officially, so does roger clark and litchfield imports good work on confirming its him Blair, would hate to buy something from him by accident!
  18. that had crossed my mind too, notice its set up in 2011 too, after flat 4 online went tits up....
  19. nice to have a new face along Mike a litchfield spec c? very very nice! havent seen it about the ness but then i havent been about too much lately, fire up some pics for us
  20. still got mine too, going to add to the collection this year Keira?
  21. hmmm, may need to splash out some new goodies before then in that case
  22. good man Lewis - really looking forward to seeing your new motor, even if it is from a distance in my rear view
  23. its fine its not like Dels got a fancy new hatch with satnav he wants to show off this time.....
