love goodyears myself for all round use - find them nice and progressive for break away but for what your after i think toyo's are pretty hard to beat - or bridgestone re070's depending what size wheels your running, excellent in the dry and not too bad in the wet but avoid slimy greasy roads with them have heard that r888's in the cold are not funny at all.....
