If the car has still got its EGT probe then I would just leave it out. Its not required for Air/fuel adjustment. Its only there as a "last resort" or Fails safe for when/if the gasses get past a certain temp (1700 or 1800deg AFAIK) Thread size is just an M12 x 1.25. Get on from you local "Hardware" store[] or Halfrauds if thats easier.

Up pipe one will be for Gas temp and the header one will be for the Lambda probe. I would of thought you would just swap your sensors over. No?

Mine were from Subaru and were great. Didnt get pulled off the car in deep snow or the likes. Didnt loose their Logo and didnt flap in the wind. Still looked like new after two years on the car. Downside was the price I guess. £375 fitted. Lucky it wasnt me that paid for them[:$]

The bottom line is I wouldnt buy a Focus due to personal prefrence in marque. However, the old focus Rs got a very good write up and also proved itself on track. I think it is all down to your choice of badge. The focus might work out at better value to the pound but personaly I would give my cash to the Japs as I know it will deliver the goods time and time again.
