  4. << Vta turbo smart, thats wot I have, with no problems, they are usually reliable the turbo smart ones, maybe worth an email to the makers/supliers so thats 2-4 now jamie lol >> Yeh, but Andy is on my side!!!! So thats 10-4

  6. Thanks to all that turned up. A lot of nice cars there too, new faces and the old ones as well Untill the next time, so long
  7. << Standard one >> So thats two for standard (or uprated re Circ)
  8. Del, I dont recognise the Number plate, but that means nowt. Is the car Uk or Jap spec? If its Uk it wouldnt be too hard to check our I guess. Jap spec will obviously be harder to do so but still possible. If it looks like the right car, do a history check on it afterwards and contact the previous owners your self. There have been a few howlers for sale over the past six months or so and out of all the ones I looked at in the flesh or just on websites, there were none that stood out and said "buy me" Theres a few good ones in the motor sport news some times. White with roll cages normaly Or are they out of your buget
  9. I will try and get over at the weekend and get more piccys of all the cars for you.
  10. << That type r's been there for a wee while, I keep going back to the site to see if its gone down in price! fancy going for a look but I know i will just have to have it.........must resist! £11,000 for a near 10 year old classic though, what would you get for it trading it in after 12 months? 4k? >> If anyone is interested then go in and speak to Charly about this car or any of the other ones he has in just now. The piccys on the website need updated and there are a load more cars in stock that are not shown. I know hes got a mint condition STI5 Type R in just now. Not a mark on it and never been touched by spanners. Well worth a look I would say. He even makes stainless steel systems and has de cat down pipes and loads more stuff for scoobies and evos in the store just now. Tell him I sent you along. I will see if hes willing to do SIDC discount too
  11. Sounds 100% like a C.V joint ,like Kartman said. Had the same problem on another car before. Get it into a garage now before it causes a death
  12. Platsatan, Whats the rpm limiter come in at on your car? Just wondered cause mine went to 8250 rpm and I dont remember there being red marks until then. No reason for asking, just interested. oh...and mine only did 125mph in 5th at 8250rpm
  13. Ahhh...brings back the memories
  14. Avoid Induction Kits Go for either the STI or I think the cotton green panel filers are the best option.
  15. 22B style front Bumper ??
  16. Hope to see you all there tonight. Just en route home from over the water Its worth it even if you only come along for the "Squirrel" size Pudding
  17. I had a version 5 STI Type Ra for a while. Didnt need any mods what so ever as it was a very quick car anyway. The next owned Decatted and ended up with the pistons out the block and an under bonnet fire. I dont think STI intended for their cars to me "Max powered" Just my opinion though
  18. Shows up any unwanted Detination in the combustion chamber as a result of incorrect Air to Fuel mixtures. Good add-on for any turbo charged car
  19. Not got time to explain what I mean just now. Im sure the squirrel might manage to shed the true light on proper Anti-lag systems before I get home. I was just curious to see how your was working via the Gems. I had it on the last car i had, but it was just the kiddy on version. All it realy did was limit the rpm on gear changes and let you keep the throttle wide open. It was very poor. Proper ALS systems require a second fuel and air supply to run. As i said, I just wondered what was fitted to your cars.
  20. Scott, Peter, Where is the injector for the anti lag fitted on your cars?
  21. I'm out of the country for a few days so if you have any questions Re Thursdays meet then please direct them towards my luvly assistant, PaulC555 Thanks

  23. Marc, Nowt worse then a Root Bag for a car salesman is there!! Cant understand why a guy thats had so many Golfs would need a 24hr test drive though?? Not too sure if the other half would like the 350z either. Heard a few complaints about them. Ladies think they are too big. Not sure if thats the right story or not. The porsche will be the best buy will it not? Residual value, etc
