  1. Murphy I never looked into this problem, as you know. Try the hazards. If they work I would pop a guess at it being the flasher unit thats faulty. If they dont work........then look at fuses. Flasher units are only a few hundred quid, so dont worry
  2. Jimmy I have a MoMo steering wheel c.w the airbag if your looking for one. Drop me a PM if you want it. Sorry for the Hijack
  3. Pay your over due broadband bill......ya tink !!!!! It works a treat after that !!LOL See you tomorrow
  4. Pass side, you will be best to remove the battery and screen wash bottle to get good access. Drivers side, remove air box (think you have a FMIC though, yeh??) and this will give greater access to the injectors. If possible, give the area round the injectors a good blow out with an airline to remove any dush/crud.
  5. You will be okay to drive the car. What year of car is it you have?? New age are top feed, classics.....aren't. Both are easy to do though. If you have done all the other jobs, this is one of the easiest. Get on with it !!!! LOL
  6. Located down the O/S of the gearbox. Sensor is on a loom the comes up to the bellhousing (under the intercooler) where it connects via a plug into the main loom. There are two sensors on your gearbox, one for speed and one for reverse light indication. Hope this is of some help.
  7. I see there are a few folk on S Net already doing this.
  8. Just a thought. I know a lot of you guys are driving your cars to work, meetings, going to pay respects etc. Would it be nice if there was something you could do to show we are mourning the loss of the great man. How about a simple black ribbon tied round your wing mirror. Its half way up the line of the car...half mast sort of thing. Its not in your face and its not expensive. Im sure most folk will be able to get a hold of something to make into the display of respect. Might be a silly idea, feel free to to come up with something else. Was just a thought. Something like this but tied in a knot round the stalk of the mirror obviously
  9. We will never ever see another like him. A "friend" for over twenty years and an inspiration in many ways. In his words, "we are here for a good time, not a long time" I just wish he had been here for a good while longer. Lets never forget him or his son Johnny and the other two friends that have been lost in this tragedy. As I have said already, thanks for the memories Colin.
  10. Words are not possible. Thoughts are with Family and close friends. As Colin used to say "we are here for a good time, not a long time" We should all take his advice and live for today, the way he did. Thanks for the memories Colin.
  11. ?? Scott, Jings. You got shot down there matey You should have posted a vid of you driving through the town with your dump valve going "woosh" every ten seconds. Its probably more acceptable Play it safe and just cover your car in "rally" stickers and post a piccy. Normaly works a treat.......for some reason
  12. The sensor is on the gearbox, the plug that connects the sensor to the loom should be located on top of the bell housing, under the intercooler.Try checking there before you go under the car to pull the sensor out. Also try a reset to clear the code. Good luck
  13. Just spreading the word. Our local bobby and family friend was round a couple of nights ago while on the beat to inform us that the thevin' scum are on the go in our kneck of the woods again. A friend from the next village along the road had his P1 stolen last week and it was abandoned only a few miles later. Its not clear why it was dumped. However. Our previous neighbour had his new L200 pickup taken and it has yet to be found. We have been advised to be extra vidulant . To be fair, there is nowt you can do apart from lock the doors on the cars and house and keep the keys away from the letter box line of sight!! Our area (Dunblane to Perth)is reciving extra patrols to try and prevent further incidents. It seems they are targeting 4x4's up here and apparenty Subarus too. It has been said that it is a team from Glasgow that are operating these thefts, not that it makes much odds's who it is. So, it was just a wee reminder to keep on top of these bu66ers and put them of nabing your hard earned toys. Hide the keys and close the windows, buy a security light , etc. Cheers
  14. Cheers Ally I was looking for an e mail contact as Im bobin' round in the tub just now and the Sat phones are poor due to us being on the move. I can just call them when I am back on the firm stuff again if I can't get a addy for them. Thanks for your help []

  17. A Mc's laps with the commentator in the car were good. Especially the wee donuts at the end [6]
  18. Do all P1's have the trackers active on them or do they need to be paid each year? Perhaps its a stolen one thats not got the tracker activated. The thevin scum might be watching it to see if it is going to be recovered by the Police. If its not touched for a few weeks they will assume its not and then proceed to break it or sell it on etc. I would call the local boys in Blue
  19. Mark. So, just to clarify.....your posting up just to rub it in!!! Were all stuck at home with breezy 5 deg winds while your tanning your a55 on the soft powdery beaches and knocking back the cocktails!! 22. Edited due to Double Double post for some reason
  23. Remember that the cage bumps up the insurance premium. Makes it hard to get in and out the car. The dash has to be cut There is still welding on the car required to fabricate mounts on the floor and also plating is required on the rear arches to give the strength. You will loose the use of the rear seats due to the diagonal bar The cage will need powder coated or painted Go for it []
