  1. Woo. The old petrol station at Kincardine Motors opens next week as a drive-thru jetwash. Popped in and they said they'd do it. £4.50 for a hot foam wash, alloys and wax. Worth every damned penny.
  2. Saw both Andy Scott's Sweet and Brian Connolly's Sweet live at the Cav - le hairy triangle. Brian Connolly was near deid. Shaking like a leaf and "hey, so good to be back in Glasgow". Nah big man, no a good move when yer playing Edinburg.
  3. That was lunatic. Did it once and what f***wit decided to close 2 miles when they're only working on 200 yards at a time. 'nuff said or I'll go off on one and regret it.
  4. The name is "Subaru Impreza Drivers Club" - don't say sh1t about having a scoop. Sod it. It's not a pre-requisite.
  5. << Looks like your average night down the beach drive in Aberdeen >> Thought they'd shut down the Bouly Bashers? PS. WTF is that Avatar all about??!!!!
  6. << I am so excited...............havent felt like this since i was a small child on x-mas eve.......... >> Two more sleeps
  7. Awww mate. I can't believe they drew on your favourite poster.
  8. Congrats! Does that mean no more waves on the Kinc bridge?
  9. That must make two of them as there's been a few reports (and I've it seen myself) around and in Grangemouth. That's under Central's jurisdiction. Kilmarnock/M8/M74 must mean Strathclyde have one too.
  10. << its quite expensive!!! >> It'll be even more expensive if they've got wind of this
  11. One of the funniest threads I've seen on here. Nothing like a good laugh to start the day
  12. << It only worked if you lodged a bit of lego where the DC power source went in. >> Lego. Now there's the ultimate in creativity.....until you stood on a piece in your bare feet.
  13. One thing I do have is an original rubber keyboard (SAY TO THORIN "CARRY ME") Spectrum 48k that's never been out of its box. That should be worth more than the £50 quid paid in the late 80's.
  14. There's a "Merlin" lying somewhere at my folks. God knows if it would work after all this time. I remember our neighbours have TCR Truck Racing and you could change lanes. You couldn't do that on my Scalectrix.
  15. << I am 37 this month and now about to e-mail my mum and dad who bought me about 99.8% (I had three little ponies) of items mentioned >> First thing I did was email my folks and my sister. My folks because they bought me the stuff featured that I'd long since forgotten about and my sister because it was her "Girls World" I took outside and played "Sniper" with my air rifle
  16. I wasn't going to post this in case Gumball shouted at me for pushing threads down, but it was sent to me today and I've spend ages going "Yup, remember that" and it's just too cool not to share so... How many do you remember?
  17. Maybe an added incentive to crawl out of your pits on Sunday... A number of people expressed disappointment at being missed from the Photo-Vid I put together recently. I can see no reason not to put another together covering this event. However, you gotta be there to be in it!
  18. The Register is a great site. Today they also ran this article which may make you feel a bit better. What we'd all love to do.
  19. Hmmmm. 48. Two more to make it the magic 50? Scary thought - even if you assume an average value of just £10k, 50 scoobs would make half a million notes worth of motor.
  20. Interesting article "But unless the Times has got the spacing wrong, having one every quarter of a mile on motorways quite clearly means they'll be used to enforce speed limits as well, which would effectively make the current generation of Gatsos obsolete. Otherwise, checking a vehicle's tax and insurance status every 15 seconds or thereabouts would seem overkill."
  21. Aberdonian who lived in Edinburgh and countered "salt 'n' sauce" with "Na quine, salt 'n' vinegar"
