  1. Andy You should be spot on with the IPA wipes, they are what I would have recommended anyway.....its just they are not that easy to pick up sometimes...... Is there any brand on the pads.......???? Havent heard of K500 primer, but I do have other primers, but they are really for applying to either glass or unpainted metal to increase the bond.....and need to be treated with care around painted surfaces.... Will ask tom in work and see if there is anything else I can find...........I could get you some small samples rolls of a clear 3M Very High Bond tape, I mean this stuff is the Dogs for bonding......only thing is once its on...its on..and probably not come of again...!! cheers Paul
  2. Andy Being a sort of an expert in tapes and adhesives, I would just point out if your using d/c pads, that the cleaning is the one part of the equation everyone overlooks, I cannot stress enough how important this part of the process will be. Especially if your a regular polisher like me, firing silicone over the car every weekend..... Silicone, waxes, glass cleaners are all major no no's when it comes to acheiving a bond....so get them off properly, with some good quality cleaner, dont use white spirit especially...... I would be crap at helping you fit them, but just wanted to make you aware of the cleaning side and its importance.... cheers Paul
