    Hi Mate I work for one of the largest 3M distributors in Europe. The previous post is correct it is a 3M product although there are several versions of it made by other people such as Tesa, Scapa etc.... I know it as "Heli" tape, mainly because one of the other uses is the protection of leading edge on helicpoter rotar blades. I can get you any information you need on this such as technical data sheets etc..... with regard to downsides, if the correct product is chosen then there shouldnt be a problem. The important thing to consider is the adhesives sytem used. You should be looking at acrylic based adhesives as these have better ageing characteristics than cheaper rubber adhesive. UV stability is also an issue as this is what causes the yellowing and weakening of the bond..... drop me a pm if you need any further information... cheers Paul

    Folks As per previous post I'm trying to pull together parties from Central and Fife for the RB run from Stirling to Aviemore.....opportunity to register tonight by 6PM please.....
