About DrewG

  1. Kit Been off the forum for a while. Downer when you find stuff like that, sure you'll get it sorted soon enough. What are you looking at buying next (nice blob eye wagon ppp? lol) Cheers Drew
  2. I have a 53 WRX PPP (wagon) and I get 270-290 Miles out of a tank, V power used. Cheers Drew
  3. Boris Cheers for the heads up---getting far to close for comfort. Cheers Drew
  4. Very nice looking and sounding P1 going into South Queensferry this morning just before 0630. I was in the Blobeye wagon behind you. Cheers Andrew
  5. Craig They are working on it and it's down to one lane each way tonight 2000-0500 then every weekend (fri 1900-Mon 0600) till 18th June then again 7th Sep -29th Oct. http://www.feta.gov.uk/content/view/48/63/ Cheers Drew
  6. Alan Thanks, I will have a look more closely at the paperwork. I've alway just said it was the standard manufacture alarm which the insurance seemed happy about. Cheers Drew
  7. Alan It's just the normal Subaru WRX alarm, imobiliser and standard key (with 1 button for open/close). Cheers Drew
  8. Andy Cheers for the reply. I use this garage all the time and have had no issues before. Also the key still doesn't work, nightmare. I'll drop by Subaru and see what they have to say. Cheers Drew
  9. Hi Bit of a boring query but................. Yesterday I left my house and drove to get petrol (5-10 mins). Within that time my key fob stopped working and I couldn't lock the doors. Cut a long story short I annoyed a lot of people trying to get petrol as the car was stuck next to one of the pumps until I got someone to get my spare key which luckily worked. Has anyone else had a problem like this, it's not the key fob battery as I swapped the batteries around so seems the key just failed. It's not been dropped or got wet recently and I have been using the same key for around a year. I know the keys are pretty expensive to buy (warranty expried at end of Dec!) but don't want to get stuck if it happens again. If it makes a difference it's a 53 plate WRX wagon Cheers Andrew
  10. STI pretender Thanks, I know it's registered Dec 2003 but can't check my CO2 level (WRX PPP) as at work. Cheers Andrew
  11. So is the following correct: Pre March 2006 cars can only be charged at a maximum of group F. Quote 'Alan-G The registered date of the car dont matter now. Emissions rule the F/G band'
  12. Gus Managed to upload some photo's onto photobucket, first time doing this so let me know if you can see anything! Hopefully it might give you more of an idea of what I was talking about. 13. Gus Thanks for this, tbh I think I just scraped the sump guard and it does look to clean for anything to have been knocked off from the bumper but thought maybe something wasn't put back after the service. I am away down south till Thursday but will take a photo and try and post it when I come back. Thanks for putting my mind at rest. Cheers Drew
