  1. Oh dear. Track day insurance amyone???
  2. Thats because they're plastered all over the front of my car. I may even have to wash it [:'(]
  3. Due to work commitments this was my first meet of the year but it was a corker. Good to see so many new faces (maybe thet're not new as I've not been around) and some old faces too. BTW, was it just me or dd anyone else notice the large number of classic tonight? Old skool rules!
  4. 17" Rays????? Nice choice Grant. They're big pimpin!
  5. That first one makes my car look well dirty, never mind.
  6. I'll take a couple tomorrow and post them up
  7. In that case it's a version 5 or the euro equivalent. I can take a pic of the switchgear tomorrow as I'm at work just now. Either that or you can come along to the glasgow meet onThursday and see it in the flesh.
  8. My my99 is a version 5 but in the wonderful world of imports its not always as simple. Does it have the orange wedges bumper? If so it's a 5 or a 6. Will it refuse to start unless the clutch is depressed? If so its a 6.
  9. D'oh, that would have been perfect. Wishing I'd went now as I'm keen to see what my new spec can do but was put off by the pishy weather. Will see how it looks in 2 weeks time and try again.
  10. If Glasgow is not too far I have one you can try.
  11. Drag raced Andy F away from the tolls on the Forth Road bridge once. I heard that guy was fast as well.[]
  12. Budget for around £50 to buy the wrap and the ties. You could do them in situ but you reeeeeeeeeeeeealy wouldn't want to. They stuff is very itchy to work with and doing it just above your head in a crampt and confined space would be an absolute nightmare. If you split them from the up-pipe there's only 6 bolts that hold them on so it's a no brainer really.
  13. I don't have any on my car but I have wrapped the headers to keep the heat down under the bonnet. Just out of interest, what year of car do you have? I still have all of the old heat shields off of mine and you can have them if that helps. Not sure what compatablilty of different models would be like but mines off a classic.
  14. Ah yeah, good to see the falcon back. Might want to put a fireguard on the back of that thing Callum.
  15. The fingers are crossed JC but ask the guys who helped me put it in the hole, it was a budget build and I didn't get to tick as many boxes as I would have liked. Mind you, I actually have some tyres that you might have heard of now so drivetrain issues are my number one concern. Better get an RAC menbership sorted STAT!
  16. Gonna try and make it up to Crail next weekend and hopefully improve on my old time. It's a non magazine day so should hopefully get quite a rew runs in but my clutch might not agree with my strategy. Anyone else fancy it?
  17. Look at my link 4 replies ago
  18. In fact check out this thread http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/692065/ShowPost.aspx the guy is selling the mirrors and the switch (its next to the mirrors in the picture)
  19. Its built into the mirror controls, the folding ones just have an extra swich to fold them in and out.
  20. Should do. Remeber to get the switch that goes with them, it houses the mirror controls and well as the foding switch. Might be a PITA to fit them though, what with the wiring.

  22. Yup, nearly all of the JDM classics have them. Should be able to pick then up second hand.
  23. Well done to the Higmeister. Excellent figures and sure to surprise a few people at the next track day.
  24. Say hello to my little friend
