  3. Now I understand. I thought you'd knocked them on by accident when you were upwrapping one of your wothers originals. As for my face, you know I always look like that.
  4. Safest place to be when there's old duffers on the road. Besides, if you hadn't driven all the ay there with your indicator on I might have made a move.
  5. Yeah, but then you do drive like a ladyboy. A real man would have had it on the back of an RAC truck on day one
  6. What year is it? The earlier one won't take as much as the later ones.
  7. They won't be purple for long mate. Plans are afoot
  8. As Rus says. these are the daddies. I've a got a set of the 17" mag versions. Lush.
  9. Come on Scott, warranties are for pussies anyway. Go to town on it and do it right. What sort of dates are we talking about?
  10. Nice pics
  11. It means you play by the rules if you want. I make my own []
  12. Badges??? We don't need no stinkin badges!!!! If you two want a dirty little run the in the country them far be it form me to tell you what to do. Just keep the pictures off the boards.
  13. Nice try fellas. One day you'll make it to the big leagues Taken yesterday
  14. Bloody hell Andy. Thought Simon might have given you a better run for your money than that.
  15. Thanks for the kind offer Iain. Have a grest time. Dave................ pot, kettle, etc []
  16. I've got a panel that could do with a bit of buffing to bring it back to life. I'll do it the old fashioned way if I have to but wondered if a kind sole might take pity on a lazy barsteward like myself and lend me their polisher. Ta much
  17. Does the pitch change with the speed? Humming or droning noise could be a wheel bearing or diff. Might be worth felling the back wheels after you've had a run to see if one is much warmer that the other. This would indicate binding brakes, seeing as you mention you had these done. Jack the car up and feel for movment in the wheel to check for signs or bearing wear. Then call ghostbusters.
  18. Hmmmm, lets see. Fancy haircut with highlights - check Pierced nipple - check Unexplainable need to tidy up all the time - check In depth knowledge of all things "Take That" - check Starting to think it might be more that a bit of lighthearted joking now. Anyway, back to the car.
  19. I've seen wagons with 18's before and they've been ok. What size tyres are you running and what offset are the wheels?
  20. Kenneth Brown will be putting the box together, it will be fitted at Playsatan Mansions. Don't go jinxing me BTW. Kenny's had his fair share of issues but he'll get them sorted. I'd just have to live with mine.
  21. Sounds like you're having fun anyway. Nearlt there with mine. Just the gearbox to go. I've all the parts in my garage, now just need to get them put together and away we go. I've been reminded that there may be a few teething problems as so much has chnaged but I'm thinking positive. []
  22. Very nice Dave. Does it feel any different to drive than the last one, appart from the power that is?
  23. Get yourself onto scoobynet and have a look in the group buy section. There is one on for axis shortblocks. You can get a built one for a lot lett than £4k. Not sure the same garage would be happy fitting it for you though. While your buying from Axis you could get studs, gaskets etc too as they are roughly half price over there.
  24. http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/180251.htm
  25. Yup Al, sti 5 blocks in them. Semi closed deck. Block and pistons look the same as the ones I had.
