  1. If it fits a P1, then it's the 'bolt to the intercooler' type.
  2. Give this a try - Tennis ball challenge Sadly simple. Apologies now for anyone wanting to get some work done today !
  3. << Not many silver new-age cars going about (only 3 in the club that I know of - ImprezaPete, Brian & Bing). So it'll be fairly unique! >> Ricerocket's got a pretty nice looking one in Silver too....
  4. Some pretty good deals on ebay as well sometimes. Often "Buy it now" type listings, with brand new tyres. Worth a look anyway. Dave
  5. Looking good Dave. We should try the 'old-school' meet again so we can see it in the flesh! Any clues to the numbers you were getting at Dastek?
  6. Best of luck Sharon, I'll keep a few things crossed for you too. Now get to bed so you're fresh in the morning !!! Dave
  7. << were your breasts hangin out when the fascist looked in your car >> That one always works for me !!
  8. Welcome to the mad hoose !
  9. << I will buy another one when I return from Australia next year. :cool >> Buy it over there and bring it back with you.You get a LOT for your money over there! My history is : - Sti 5 Type R bought in 1999 - MY2000 wagon bought in 2001 - P1 bought in 2002 Still got the P1 and hoping they might release the P2
  10. They've got a pretty decent feedback rating, so I wouldn't worry about buying from them personally. I've bought from Germany, France, Australia and USA in the past, and had not problems. Dave
  11. Hello, welcome and have fun
  12. << Well said John >> I agree. Lets enjoy the sensible level of moderation we have on here, and not abuse it.
  13. Oops, forgot about this thread !! Emm, I'll need to do a bit of a "stock check" since my house move, as I've kinda lost track of what I've got a bit! So, off the top of my head.. - Rear Bumper (older classic) - Front bumper (late classic) with damaged P1 splitter (at a mates house though, so will need to check he's not sold it!) - Classic Windscreen (which is actually spoken for, but I'll let you know if it drops through for any reason) - Sti 5 engine (in bits, with one blown piston) - Standard classic exhaust system - A couple of classic crystal headlights (one damaged) - A couple of classic door mirrors (one damaged) - OE classic indicators - A pine french dresser (possibly spoken for, but not confirmed yet) - An R33 Skyline GTR with R34 engine and box - An R33 GTR engine and turbos with a sick bearing - An R33 5 speed gearbox - A set of Vauxhall Nova 14" alloys! - A single Mk 2 VW Golf BBS alloy - Loads of light fittings which I bought from an auction, then didn't end up using ! (mostly eye-ball downlighters, although there's some nice 'different' stuff as well) - Single divan bed - IKEA Bonde furniture (in Beech) - loads of stuff left over from my last house - mostly full height bookshelf/storage type units. Ok, I'm maybe scraping the barrel a little, but I thought for rallying, some of this stuff might be useful! A 2.7 litre GTR engine in an impreza would be a fun project! I do have some tastier stuff as well, but I'm probably keeping it to go on my car if I keep it (defis, H&S system,17" P1 alloys etc). Let me know if there's anything you see that you fancy. Dave
  14. Check out the comment he's added to the listing... << Just to say there is over 90 watchers and ive had over 20 questions from very interested highly rated ebayers PLEASE REMEMBER ONLY BID TO BUY. No time wasters ! Cheers , Lee >> I think it might sell better with an MOT and a clutch to be honest ! LOL !!!
  15. One more added
  16. New thread with final karting details and participant list is now a 'sticky' at the top of the Scottish Scoobies page - please sign up (or drop out) as soon as you can, so I know what to book. Thanks. Dave
  17. VERY tempted, but am well short on the cash front at the moment. Anything else you need for the car just now John? Dave
  18. Barstewards!! The side badges from my P1 got nicked a while ago, and I've never bothered replacing them to be honest. Didn't see any point in giving them ANOTHER set !! Nothing ever hoes missing at my house, but always at friends places or carparks. Just need to stop visiting people I guess !!!!
  19. I've got one lying around somewhere. I bought it to replace a screen that had a slight chip, but I sold the car before fitting it. £50 and it's yours. I'm in Edinburgh. Dave
  20. Name is added... See new post here : Confirm you place here..... clicky Dave
  21. Superb !! I love the 'its there to be driven' attitude !!
  22. Sorry about the delay guys. Been busy with other things, and am not 100% sure if I'll be here for the event either. I will however go ahead with the organisation of it once I get some definite prices back from Graham at Raceland. I'll post a new thread tomorrow to see who is still up for it. Dave
  23. Very nice. I so much prefer the evo5 and 6 look to the newer ones. Still looks like a rally car, not just a go faster mondeo !! (I think Subaru have gone the same way, so please don't think I'm having a go at the EVO !!) If you ever fancy trading towards a Skyline, let me know! Dave
  24. Yeah, I've lost 2 tyres in the last year to potholes as well. Probably my own fault for running 19's mind you!! Might be worth puting a claim in - they won't pay anything unless it's already been reported, but apparently if your persistant enough, they will pay out eventually. Dave
  25. Good to see they've got at least one Skyline though!! A bit weird having no scoobies, I have to say.
