Hi all, I've had a bit of work done o the Scoob over the past few weeks so thought I would post a couple of pics. First couple are as she was when I bought her then after the recent work i have had done on coding the side skirts and adding the sti spoiler. Sill lots to do but a good start I think :-) and now..... No on to the performance upgrades!!!

You must do a fair amount of miles to be spending that much a week on petrol! I had noticed your spots in the 'was it you?' section appear to be from all over the country!!!

All the best fella I'm sure it was a tough decision to sell but as you mentioned sometimes you have to make those head over heart choices and if you're going to be a dad then you need to do what's best for you're family. Take care mate

I'm sure I heard somewhere you should wait 30 seconds or so before moving off to allow time for the oil to filter around the engine but then after that you're ok to drive as long as you let the engine warm up to temp before any 'spirited' driving commences.

Thanks for that my car is in tomorrow to have the skirts sprayed so if they do a good job I will ask them about the spoiler. If not I will give you a shout Thanks Gary

Thanks for the info fella now you mention it I think we had spoken about this before so think I will steer clear. Its strange I thought adding an STI spoiler was a common upgrade however I am struggling to find recommendations or examples of where people have had this done

Cheers fella I will bear in mind however thats a good 2.5 hour drive from me so would prefer somewhere closer if possible. They have some good prices on there though they had a front lip for £99 recently but i didnt have the cash to buy one at the time

Hi all I am about to purchase one of these from Scoobyworld however they have just told me they no longer do fitting/spraying. Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Milton Keynes/Aylesbury/Luton area that has experience of spraying/fitting these? I am getting my side skirts sprayed this weekend so could get the spraying done however its the fitting I am more concerned about as I have heard some horror stories of leaking boots etc when these have not been done properly. STI8 Spoiler Scoobyworld Any help/advice gratefully received :-)

Anyone know what rims they are as they look awesome?! I need 4 new tyres and my 'man maths' has calculated that I will get better value if I buy rims & tyres together!

There are plenty of WRXs out there for that money with STI mods so that would be your best bet You could then upgrade with new parts rather than buying a heavily used STI.

every time I read one of your posts fella it reminds me how much scope there is for increasing the power/performance on a scooby engine.......I really need to get started on modding mine!!!!!

Search prodrive in the forum mate as this has been asked before. He should have a crtificate if its authentic I believe and someone may correct me but aren't som of the prodrive upgrades under the bonnet blue so should be easy to spot?

So I was pulling out of MacDonalds earlier this evening and hadn't noticed a WR1 pulling out behind me. I wasn't driving quickly as was just mooching along with the Mrs but he obviously floored it and flew past me away down the road, boy that thing can acellarate and boy it sounds good doing it! I want one!!!!
