  1. Hi all I am getting to the stage where I want more power from my Blobeye WRX (03 plate). I have looked on Andy Forrest Performance and the list of mods required to get me to 260-280BHP are as below. My question is as follows.....should I get started on the list below or save the money towards buying an STI. I have no idea what the mods below would cost and would need to get a garage to do the work as I could'nt do it myself. Full Decat or Sportscat exhaust from turbo back 2.5 or 3” bore Ecutek Custom ECU recalibration (similar to PPP) Twin boost set up for high/low power switchable in-car Walbro 255 l/hr uprated fuel pump K+N panel filter What does everyone think??
  2. Ah ok thanks I checked on a couple of sites (castrol and Opie) and they both reccomended 5W 30 so I had to rush out to Halfords as I was worryingly low and couldn't wait for an online delivery! Should I have gone for 40? What's the differnce? Thanks Gary

  7. Well I have jsut given my car a wash/wax so thought I would upload some photos. Nothing too exciting, a standard WRX but she scrubs up well!
  8. So I'm filling up at the Shell garage in Leighton Buzzard Wed evening (£1.26 for V Power :-( ) and out the corner of my eye I saw a black blobeye either STI or WRX with added spoiler. Black alloys with yellow brakes - awesome looking car!
  9. I would agree with Ace an STI is certainly less comman than the other 2. M3s are comman and do not have the best reputation. Bear in mind we are likely to have snow again next year and you will be glad you have a 4 wheel drive as BMWs are useless in the snow! Welcome to the forum!
  10. Followed you from M1 in Hemel Hempstead right the way down to near the Blackwall tunnel south London last Wednesday 2-3pm through heavy traffic - I was in the blue blobeye WRX

  16. Heading towards the A5 I think it was an STI but can't be sure
  17. Evening all So I took my Blogeye WRX for its MOT toaday and it passed thankfully which is good news! Picked the car up, drove home and everything was working fine howver next time I got into the car and started her up I have completely no power to the stereo which is an Alpine head unit. Is this a massive coincidence or could the garage have knocked something and caused this issue? Any advice greatly received!! Thanks Gary
