  1. I think that may have been Arch's white RA Beast Crazy looking??? Arch or the car
  2. There is a two number code after the size which tells you. The higher the number the stiffer the sidewall. e.g. 225/45R17 93Y
  3. Is it custom mapping or a generic one that Star do for the VAG diesels?
  4. That guy absolutely shat a brick on the 3rd pull there!!!
  5. Reg D7 *WM, Blue Blobeye STi all stickered up spotted at McDonalds in Kirkie at Lunchtime on Sat 20th. Seen it around Kirkie before but not sure if it belongs to an SIDC member or not? Gave a wee wave anyhoo .
  6. I'm sure that's a blank for inserting between your hydraulic brake pads when the wheel/disc isn't fitted to the bike. I take it the bike came without it's wheels on? Nice bikes the Felts. When I was doing triathlon I was close to buying an all singing-all dancing Felt time trial road bike. Hope you enjoy your off-roading, and as said previously, it's of great benefit to get a set of spuds
  7. G-mac, I've got myself a Specialized Stumpjumper Expert M4 and absolutely love it. Best of both worlds really, lock out the back Fox Float susp if you want a hardtail and lock out the superb Fox Float forks if you're climbing etc. I bought the frame and forks on their own and put the best of gear that i could afford around them; XTR gear and XT Deore levers/hyd brakes, Sun rims and the best offroad tyres you can get imho Panaracer Trailraker. As for pedals with cleats....YES,YES,YES.....they make such a difference to your cycling efficiency. You just need to get used to ejecting yourself from them when taking a fall.... . Here's a few quick pics of my ride:
  8. Joe, what Wee Jock said makes absolute sense. There's always a sensible solution, you just need some clarity of thought right now. Good luck mate.
  9. Keep the spec-C and sell your ZX6ninja. They're 2-a-penny, but the spec-C isn't . Good time to be selling a bike as well, with spring being just round the corner. I'm in between bikes at the moment, and sure as hell get a severe case of motorcycle emptiness when the 1st few nice spring days arrive .
  10. I've got tein lowering springs on my blobeye. They're about the same drop as prodrive ones and I'm impressed with the lack of body roll and seem quite plush over uneven ground too. Gets my vote
  11. Can a colleague at work not help you remove the wheel, rest the hub on a few bricks, then take the offending item to the tyre repair place up the road for a "Swift" repair before refitting? This would be my last resort, but still a possible solution nonetheless .
  12. Just glad you got it sorted Kenny. I'm sure you'd have gone out of your way if the boot had been on the other foot. Nice one Arch .
  13. You're far to easy to get a rise from Del.......it's just no fun anymore .
  14. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring theme over on scoobynet. You hear about things like this, along with folk being ripped off all too commonly . The guy must have been sooo desperate to sell that he purposely never mentioned the long list of issues with the car. Any normal person, knowing that a viewer is travelling to see a car would go out of his/her way to point out the smallest of issues to save this kind of thing from happening..........or maybe that's just me? Let's hope you find a mint example soon and put this episode behind you
  15. You mean his fine taste is that he has resisted the urge to buy a Prius, I mean Hatch? Only joking, I know how upset you hatch guys get about the subject??? P.S. Cheers for the details Bobby
  16. My BugSTi did the same, a new belt sorted this instantly. Easy job and under £10 for the belt too
  17. P/S belt is a really easy job, not sure about the pump though.
  18. Here's a link to the JDM model specification page . JDM Specifications
  19. Must admit I've used them for a couple of things and they've been excellent. Colin is a decent guy to deal with as well. I'd recommend them, and they always seem to have a fresh supply of Newage cars coming in .
  20. Here's a link to the Scottish Hillclimb and Sprint championships website for further info: Guyson Scottish Sprint & Hillclimb Championships I know several of our members do the Sprint events and some also do the Hillclimbs as well. Here's a link to the East Ayrshire Car Club, who organise the events at Kames race track: EACC - Kames I'm sure someone else with experience in these events will be along shortly to dispense some advice...........They'll probably advise to you to get friendly with your bank manager as it can be an expensive passtime Good luck
  21. They're like Rocking horse Sh*t to get a hold of though???
