  1. My BugSTi did the same, a new belt sorted this instantly. Easy job and under £10 for the belt too
  2. P/S belt is a really easy job, not sure about the pump though.
  3. Here's a link to the JDM model specification page . JDM Specifications
  4. Must admit I've used them for a couple of things and they've been excellent. Colin is a decent guy to deal with as well. I'd recommend them, and they always seem to have a fresh supply of Newage cars coming in .
  5. Now sorted J.C.
  6. Here's a link to the Scottish Hillclimb and Sprint championships website for further info: Guyson Scottish Sprint & Hillclimb Championships I know several of our members do the Sprint events and some also do the Hillclimbs as well. Here's a link to the East Ayrshire Car Club, who organise the events at Kames race track: EACC - Kames I'm sure someone else with experience in these events will be along shortly to dispense some advice...........They'll probably advise to you to get friendly with your bank manager as it can be an expensive passtime Good luck
  7. They're like Rocking horse Sh*t to get a hold of though???
  8. I had 18" Inovit Tarmacs on my Bug STi and needed spacers to clear the Brembos
  9. As above, I'm sure nobody will mind at all so long as our no. plates are blanked out during the editing process .
  10. Looks like a nice clean example you got yourself .
  11. Get the AA or other roadside recovery to, well, recover it for him???
  12. Hi and welcome Richard . Is it a classic, newage or hatch? Any mods etc, and as above post up some pics when you collect it.
  13. Hi Sandy, Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy your Impreza. You've arrived at the right site to help you get more enjoyment from your scooby ownership . Here's a forum that might answer a few questions about your 2.0 GX Sport ownership and modding. It's not very active, but could be useful for model specific questions. ImprezaSport.net Forum Linky Phil
  14. Is that AA Breakers? If so, i've used them for a few bits and they've been spot-on .
  15. The HT Autos ones are the ones to go for. I chanced my arm and managed to get one for the blobeye at the group buy price of £99 posted thru Snet, I think it's Mark you need to speak to (Just trawl through previous group buys and PM him). As said already, use all the fixing bolts/nuts and also fire in more self tappers along the middle section for peace of mind and you'll be ok. I also had one for my bugeye STi and it makes a huge difference to the look of the front end imho .
  16. Glad you got it unstuck Paul . The wagon would never have got stuck though, maybe time to start using that for the dogs?
  17. Your speedo should be fine so long as you have the correct profile of tyre fitted (Same wheel/tyre diameter as the 17s). If the tyres are wider than previously I'd maybe consider checking your geometry out to prevent uneven tyre wear and ensure the maximum amount of grip to the road? I'm no tyre expert, so this is just my opinion. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and confirm things 100% for you . :star:
  18. Welcome to the SIDC site mate. Get some pics up so we know who to look out for .
  19. If it were me I'd save up your pennies and get a set of K sport brakes. But in the meantime I'd get a decent set of grooved discs and uprated pads to match, which will be a noticeable improvement over your standard 4-pot discs tbh. I think Godspeed is doing a Xmas special on 4-pot grooved discs for something daft like £59 over on Snet group buy????
  20. The snow isn't lying, and is just the occasional shower around Kirkie. Should be a decent run down to Lanark in a few hours hopefully . Just phone work and say you're snowed in, so you can make the Lanark meet tonight Kenny ?
  21. Cheers for the help guys . Got some good pointers of where to look. I managed to get a C/L control unit to swap out, and thankfully this fixed it without me having to remove any door cards and look at the lock motors etc. Phil
  22. Cheers for that . I've sent him the question, but have another thing or two to look at before I take it to Griers 1st thing tomorrow.
  23. I've tried a search for this, but unable to find anything exactly the same, so any help would be gratefully received :thumb:. My 2003 WRX has just started to intermittently unlock all the car doors without them being commanded to do so. I was driving along this morning and all I could hear was an intermittent clicking of the central locking. When I stopped and locked the car using the keyfob button, the doors immediately unlocked again (Although alarm was now armed). When I tried to lock the doors with the key in the doorlock, again but not immediately, the doors unlocked all by themselves. Then I could hear the locks again clicking to unlock intermittently. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before, and if so what was the cause of it/what fixed it??? Many thanks for giving this some thought. :wonder: Cheers, Phil
  24. I had a similar problem with my STi. It turned out to be a bent pin on my ISO adapter. Worth checking all the pin connections are good. Phil
  25. Great find there Noel at $57 . I noticed they also do a Swarovski encrusted version at $83 (Must tell the wife) Swarovski encrusted car badge
