  1. its very tight between the two of you! What are your target times for Branda? Low 53's?
  2. Yup, In my STi TypeR with 350bhp (last engine) was still very easy to get out of shape in 3rd at the hairpin.
  3. There is some GoPro footage at the end (last minute or so) of this vid - That was from the rear one, the front one stopped recording (we didnt delete old vids off SD card so it was full ) during that lap LOL
  4. Fee's round 2 write up, vids and pics are now online at http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/timeattack/.../2010round2.htm
  5. some great pics guys ~ John - Was wondering what the hell had happened to the ex ZEN cars bonnet - now I know :S A wee vid of Fee in the final (Club Class) -
  6. ahhhh.. so thats you in the white classic with the arch extensions? Car seems very quick! Fee and I were the two folk in the stand at the hair pin when you lost it LOL. You looked a bit sheepish
  7. There will be a lot of TA cars there on the 15th too
  8. you are supposed to see the car BEFORE bidding! You bid to BUY not VIEW.
  9. yes.... but its obviously 400+ going by terminals and rough weights (it can be guestimated)
  10. er... so thats Class 1 - 11.99 sec and under Class 2 - 12.00 to 12.99 sec Class 3 - 13.00 sec and slower. (most cars?) Not really clued up on most times for Imprezas, and no real idea what mine would run as I've never dragged it :S. Would any of those groups be really clogged up? If a Class 2 car runs a 11.99 its punted up to Class 1 during the day yes?
  11. That wont work. In a perfect world where nobody bends rules etc maybe. I'll stick it in the standard class. joke. No idea how you go about sorting all these classes out without creating too many! 4 seems a good number but I agree with braveheart. 500bhp should be the base for the top class. That should see all the monsters in the top flight. Another problem is knowing the power you are running. Some folk are running 400 shetland ponies, and some 400 clydsdales! You also need to trust people to be honest, and then believe them once they set a quick (too quick) time. Road Car Track Car 500bhp + (sub 12's) Its all very complicated LOLK
  12. dont you think the extreme class is a little (un)extreme? 400bhp isnt that extreme in an Impreza. If I pitch up with our 2dr (on a trailer) with 390'ish bhp (its completly stripped, caged, semi slicks etc) and set a decent time it'll be in the modified class?
  13. Ba... they have changed the points system from 2009. Qualifying is still scored but just a lot lower than 2009 Used to be 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 for top 5 in Qual. Its now 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Final is still 100 to 10 for top 10. So that means Scott is on 103 in 1st, and Fee on 95 in 2nd.
  14. Great pics John Do you mind if a send one to OPIE?
  15. looks like you are quicker than Fee in a straight line this year too Traps speeds for the final Trap 1 (on Brakes) Scott - 116.9 Fee - 116.7 Trap 2 (power up the hill) Scott - 105.0 Fee - 104.5 Trap 3 (power over the finish line) Scott - 115.5 Fee - 112.0
  16. lots of brakes, suspensiona and power i assume .... still was holding fee up a lot! http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=78127 write up on the car
  17. Practice - 1st in ClassQualifying - 1st in ClassFinal (best vid) - 2nd in ClassFee's fastest time of the day = 1:35.150 set in practice. Track space, tyres and some wee mistakes meant she didnt better it... still about 7secs quicker a lap than she managed last year and good enough for 2nd place in 2009 too Congrats to Scott Robson on the win though Its a pitty Marco was missing to challenge for the FF class
  18. yup, as above.... I also have a spare sump (EJ20) lying in the garage you can have for £10 if needs be. Its not pristine, but it doesnt leak.
  19. either that, or the dynos are a bit optimistic LOL or they have too much ****e/ICE, leather, bling bling Rimz etc LOL What power and weight were you running for your 11.08 at 132. It could just be down to drivers though.. as there is no logical reason a GTR (be in 32/33 or 34) should be slower than a similar power/weight Impreza.
  20. just short of 570 bhp at the fly.... but thats a guestimate isnt it. WHP is the real deal. The car weighs over 1300kg but it is stripped out on VERY firm suspension setup for track work. R888's etc. In no way ideal or designed for a 1/4mile blast. At the last Impreza vs Skyline day it did a 11.02 at 131mph with a 1.6 60ft. 8000rpm launch LOL - a baw hair away from a 10, same as the black 2 door Impreza really. A 10 would have been on if the day didnt end - less fuel etc etc Half the skylines you see running are NOT the power they state, or are just generally eased off the line.
  21. 1000+bhp skylines doing 11's :| pull the other one! 440AWHP on ours was enough to get the fastest time at the last event
  22. I didnt see the day advertised on Skyline sites to be honest... not on GTRoc anyway.
