  6. Submit a support ticket Terry, you'll get a response quickly enough I would imagine
  7. Yeah, yeah, I'm on holibobs, that's my excuse
  8. There's usually various convoys and we'll all congegate at Morrison in Swindon. I'll post some convoy details up when I'm back from holiday
  9. This one? <--- assuming it was posted in Scottish Scoobies and got moved to General?!?
  10. I can't see one post in the 'deleted items' folder even remotely connected to be honest chap. If a Mod deletes a post you WILL get a PM. Have you been having any other issues? Perhaps issues with web connections or other sites?
  11. Done PM on its way
  12. After my rear shocks started knocking a few weeks back (common on blobeyes) and with my osf wheel bearing in need of replacement I decided I would spend yesterday swapping my springs and struts over. I had a set of WRX struts with the Eibach Pro Kit already fitted so had no need to do all the annoying fiddly bits like removing top nuts, dicking around with spring compressors etc so it should have been a nice straightforward job which would leave plenty of time to remove the osf hub to have the bearing replaced... Or so I thought... Friday night I took each of the wheels off in turn and have the two pairs of nuts and bolts on each a good soaking with WD-40 ready for yesterday assuming that it would make things a bit easier... It didn't. I started yesterday at 11am and by 4:30ish it was clear I was going to miss my window for having the alignment done today. In just over five hours I had managed to swap one rear strut and bend/crack/warp/shear more tools and 19mm sockets/spanners than I thought possible - I even broke my 500Nm Teng torque wrench! NOTHING was going to shift those bolts!!! After a lot of swearing and a bit of a moan on facebook SW member Flathead (Alan) send me a message to say that he and his sons had some air tools and I was on my way to Swindon to get the bolts loosened... I had intended to use their tools to loosen up the bolts ready to swap the rest over today - under an hour after arriving though, Alan, Rich and Lloyd (dibble) had the whole lot swapped over!!! I then had time to remove the hub, have the bearing replaced and even made my appointment for alignment - the car now handles like a dream now and I can't say how grateful I'm am for their help! It's actions like this that really do make this club what it is and I'm so proud to be part of it! Thanks once again to Alan, Rich & in particular, Lloyd who managed to get the camber almost perfect seemingly without even trying! Legends the three of you! (will get some pics up in a bit when I'm not on my mobile )
  13. Lol, that's more what I was expecting to hear
  14. Sport? As in, non-turbo?!? By comparison, my GX managed 15.8 at Shakespeare Raceway!!! Yours has to be the fastest sport in the country then I reckon! Hold on, were they running the full 1/4 mile or 1/8th? Still bloody quick for a sport even over 1/8!
  15. 7.8? Guessing your scoob's pretty far from standard then eh!
  16. Noticed on their site the other day that import car parts have some at fantastic prices if you end up needing a new one
  17. Bit of a trek but Scoobyprojects in Ledbury or Indigo-GT in Merthyr Tydfil get my vote. Heard a lot of good reports about Rowleys down in Collumpton as well which is a lot closer! http://www.rowleysgarage.co.uk/
  18. Lol, I am but have lived in Oxford for the past 3 years
  19. First thing I would do is speak to trading standards if the garage are playing silly buggers - tell the garage you're speaking to TS as well. If the garage did do anything that warrants repair and they're refusing liability, you'll be expected to document everything for court so make plenty of notes. Hopefully it won't go that far but it's always best to be prepared Good luck and I hope they sort it for you!
  20. Think there might be a few of us southerners up for that as well!

  22. Lol, no need to apologise chap, life has it's way of distracting us all doesn't it
  23. Lol, someone's not been reading True Grip it seems (we had the exclusive on the Pro-R range about 5 months ago) ...the club and True Grip also sponsor their Time Attack car I understand there's also a feature in the next issue of BANZAI mag as well. The website was supposed to launch in May but it's been a little slow coming - as is the way with these things sometimes.
  24. Just for this show, that's fine
  25. Sorry guys, can't make it now - got to pick up the wife's new car (well, to her anyway )
