  1. Seconded Thanks everyone for coming along! Excellent evening.
  2. There's a number of us heading up to Liecester for the SIDC Christmas party that weekend as well so we'll likely be a bit thin on the ground.
  3. There's some gremlins in the system - we tried water but that made more of them and was a bit scary around all that electrickery so we're hatching another plan - we're hoping to have everything sorted soon though
  4. On my mobile so cant post images/video but have a look at this DIY Lamborghini Reventon from China... http://www.gtspirit.com/2012/11/14/overkill-lamborghini-reventon-replica-built-by-chinese-farmer/
  5. Yes, makes sense. The sensor is the air intake temp sensor. I can't see it making much difference if the standard filter is in or otherwise but personally I would want the filter as close as possible to the intake manifold being as you've had years of crap building up in the intake before the existing filter.
  6. You can replace the whole system with an induction kit but to be honest, they run better with a standard air box - it'll be sucking in warm air if the intake is in the middle of the engine bay.
  7. Worst possible thing to happen to Star Wars. Disney! Really?!? You've all see what they've done to Pixar and that's cartoons! Okay so there is likely to be more Starwars episodes but at what cost?
  8. Just the coffee for me these days mate but yeah, sounds a plan
  9. Springs and struts from a Fozzy with new camber bolts will do the job. That's the route I was looking at before I lowered mine instead lol
  10. Only if you replace the engine with a turbo lump, a new box, brakes, suspension... more fun making it rwd imho
  11. 4 petrol stops over the w/e Yep, you'll get a special badge, just for you...
  12. Busy fixing your spelling in your TG articles I can take it, it's not like a drive a beemer or anything
  13. Harf harf harf Soup, Turkey, Cheese & Biscuits please
  14. I'm guessing then that you've the same p1 that used to pass me around 5:45ish towards the speed camera on the hendred road towards didcot then?
  15. They live in East Hendred, I pass it on my way to work. There's a silver classic that parks opposite too.
  16. Glad you got it sorted mate. I know only too well how bad it can be when a bonnet pops up at speed. 18 months ago I had the scoob in for a respray on the bumper. I didn't know at the time but they had popped the bonnet looking for the paint code and not shut it properly... Pulled onto a dual carriageway and as I was overtaking in the outside lane around "70ish" the bonnet came up - I hit the Armco, span 360 in front of the car I was passing, hit the curb, bounced up and was less than a foot from a 15m drop when I came to a stop. Suffice to say I was bloody lucky!
  17. The blue ones were sent out to all members for free as a thank you. The black/grey ones are being sent out with new memberships/renewals.
  18. Have mine on the rear of the sideskirts - after years with them getting battered on the rear side windows I'm much happier with their placement now
  19. Really?!? That puts you within months of being the same age as my dad dude... I thought you were late 30s?!?
  20. Without a doubt we are, surely it goes without saying
