I can see they are oil filled so could it be you have one thats maybe lost some oil ? therefore its not operating within the proper range just an idea

Im glad its all resolved im a new member , and this was my first meeting with SIDC and i must say that i had a brill welcome , everyone was joking and the conversations were all light hearted, it would have been a shame if you had stoped your membership and i look forward to more gatherings in the gazebo with muffins in hand lol . It could be the spring is wearing that happens to springs or maybe the pin has lost the grease it has on it through heat in the footwell try a little wd40 on it that should work

Some insurance companys have a seperate claim thingy fo drunk drivers , so speak to them about hiring a vehicle to use for work they should be able to claim all costs back including your hire costs if you havent a vehicle when its all finalised and you get your cheque , good luck with finding something and i hope he gets what he deserves rob

Im new to the site and to scoobys , but i researched the various sites and opted to join this one purely because it stood out and seemed friendly as opposed to others , also im a mature driver and dont like or need the boy racer approach abeit i love getting behind the wheel of my classic and giving it some wellie it puts a smile on my face but i have been moderators and admin on a few other sites of which the same has happened to them , so what im trying to say is hold on in there it will pick up its just the time of the year when it does get slighly quiet on any site so just and relax and enjoy as i am lol

Very good writeup love the fact that it escalated so gradual its always the same get new car and then the fun begins with altering and changing things to the way you want them done But as said you really need pics to get the full potential of your post so show us the end product pmsl rob
