its probably the dump valve. nothing wrong with it if u change your oil more frequently. however if you have the cats still in place i would take it off as it wont be doing them any favours for mot time IMO. could be duff lambda as wel

z5 is for phase 1 engine( 4 plug ecu) and tdo5. yours has phase 1.5 (3plug ecu) and td04. i think

can be bought for 50 sqiud. thats what i paid for mine from glenburgie, works fine. ask for 100 i would say since its newish.

first thanks to paul and the guys at hypertech for accoomadating the northerners second to gus and andy that were on barbaque duty. got 231 at fly which is not too bad for a uk with 111k on the clock and only exhaust changes. more importantly got the afr checked out which was what i was looking for. trust a coolant sensor to through a wobbly on the way down though. good putting a few faces to names again

dont know about newages but all classics are the same size. though they are the same size may have different spring rates but they do fit. i lowered my na legacy a few years ago and it was same kit as for impreza turbo. when i got my first turbo rears tyres were rubbing so fitted normal legacy springs to rear struts for a fortnight until i had received new lowering kit , worked fine but looked like it was set up for forest stages hopefully some one will know what the newer ones are like but cant see them fitting different bits as it would keep the cost down.

mine came on when alternator was on its way out. if youve had to replace any bulbs recently that would be the way to go. you can self test abs unit for codes but not sure if procedure changes over the years.
