  1. Went to fill up the car today. Nearly keeled over when i saw that overnight the price on the Island had gone up by 7p a litre!! Now at £1.36 for 95 ron!! And diesel £1.38!! I know there was a vat increase but 2.5% doesnt add up to a 7p increase or is my maths just crap!! lol Not nice when its costs 55quid to fill up from quarter of a tank! Shocking if you ask me!! Just as well i run a 95 ron map as well as a 99!! As octane booster aint cheap these days either!! Joe
  2. Happy new year to everyone!! All the best for 2011!!
  3. was brake fluid level last time the brake light stuck on, on my old classic!
  4. Think i would have been wiped out there!! Guy didnt even do as much as flinch lol. I would have needed to change my trousers for sure lol
  5. If its just a standard clutch try Clyde car components on 01475729218. I have used them a lot in the past and have had good service along with good prices. Joe
  6. My mate got the same a few weeks back in aberdeen!! 6 points for the front windows being too dark! Harsh IMO!! Joe
  7. Get the footage up andy lol
  8. Bad news folks!! Alza didnt make it, passed away late thisafternoon!! You were a truely one off artist wee man and a proper car enthusiast!! RIP! Thoughts are with your family at this sad time! Joe
  9. No he had his own place. Sure it was called Tattooz by Alza on Dellingburn street in Greenock!
  10. Driving back from the santa cruse yesterday and saw a red mitsubishi GTO smashed to bits on the A78 between Greenock and Inverkip. Car was a complete mess!! Found out thismorning that it was my mate wee Alza the tattoo artist from greenock!! He is in a critical condition and not looking good at the moment! So stay safe on the roads folk, especially in these freezing conditions!!! Hope you pull through wee man!!! Thoughts are with your family!! The aftermath http://www.inverclydenow.com/index.php/news/local/3790-serious-crash-on-a78 Joe
  11. Had a great day out and cant wait till next year already! Thanks to all for turning up and everyone that donated to make a nicer xmas for all the kids in yorkhill!! :biggrinsanta: Thanks to Robert who worked wonders yet again with the organisation and Graeme (GBSTI) for the sticker!! All in all a great success once again!! P.S. What a noise we created around George square!! Noticed a lot of pics were taken by passers by!! haha!! Then a wee jont through the clyde tunnel on the way home!! (Andy, seemed to loose you at the lights just before the tunnel but heard you for miles hahahahaha!!) Joe
  12. Had a great night last night! Big thanks to Peter for some top notch grub!! Really enjoyed myself and always good to be able to put faces to names! Roll on Sunday now!! Joe
  13. My wee one wont be coming now. Ready for a good night!! See you all tonight!! :biggrinsanta:
  14. Possibly not taking the wee one now!! Means i could go on the drink!! lol
  15. I fitted bc coilovers to my old spec c and had no complaints whatsoever with them. Great coilovers IMO for the price and were much more comfortable on the road than the tein's i had on a previous impreza. Worth going for the rear strut dampening adjustment extenders as an extra to save taking the rear bench out to adjust the rear dampening. Think the extenders were an extra 40 quid. Joe
  16. Ill take 20 robert, will send £20 to your paypal just now. Joe Payment sent! :biggrinsanta:
  17. Blob spec c!! I would never have got rid of mine if my circumstances were different. Great cars and always keep you on your toes!! Proper drivers car! Im sure Andy (TPS-scoob) will be along to back this one up as he now has my old spec C. Joe
  18. Now now graeme, patience! lol! Will be worth every minute of waiting for the finished outcome! On a plus side you could always take mine for a blast while im up in Aberdeen. Get the feel for it again
  19. Had BC's on the spec c when i had it. Found them really good with no problems at all for the year and a half they were on the car. Also worth getting the rear strut dampening adjuster extensions to save taking the back seats out to adjust the dampening. Joe
  20. Dodgy advert that looks like its written by a NED! Milage doesnt mean everything. It could have done 22k miles and never been properly serviced or as said above had the hole screwed out it on the track for most of its life. My classic has just over 100k on it and you would never know. Feels and drives like a new car. Would wait for another to pop up IMO. And its true what they say, you get what you pay for. Just my 2p's worth.
