At the end of the day you are always going to have dangerous drivers on the road regardless of what car they drive! There are people who take chances and are probably not even aware themselves of the damage they can cause, not only to other peoples cars but to peoples lives!! I have had many other subaru drivers come up behind me and "egg" me on as im sure we all have done. And everyone regardless of age likes a wee "play" in their cars from time to time. But there is a fine line between speeding and being dangerous! And i have to draw the line at people almost driving in my boot when i have my 3 year old boy in the car. This happened to me a while back when i had my Spec C. Its only going to take it to happen once more and if im in the car on my own the driver WILL be parked in my boot as i hammer the brakes on!! Posts like this one are to make people aware of certain cars which have drivers behind the wheels who take dangerous risks so that others don't get caught up in the same scenario. Its not about slagging off other forums, its about protecting the members of this forum! Joe

Saw a similar thing on the boat i work on. Big static caravan on a flatbed trailer, managed to fit through the stern door no probs but forgot that the bow door on the boat had less width! End result exactly the same haha. Even the captain was laughing at it!

Would love to go but flying out to ibiza on the 17th for a couple of weeks to chill out! lol

Pretty sure it will be the shock! I went through 2 sets of rear shocks within 9000miles. And the klunking noise is more noticable when reversing at first, then it becomes worse and eventually will be heard at low speed when going forward. I drove the my old spec c with knocking shocks for a while but you could never hear it when driving normally, only at low speed!

OOPS indeed! Too much power for a novice driver me thinks!! Hope the guy gets a new car out of it, thats the first thing id be looking for drunk or not drunk!

Seen the same one marko at tesco last week when i was fueling up! Not seen it driving about all the same so can't comment on the driving

Just wondering if anyone knows the standard size of the speakers in a 98 uk turbo? 5.25inch, 6 inch or 6.5 inch? Being a lazy bugger and cant be bothered taking one out to check Cheers Joe

Already had the gearbox and diff uprated from the standard UK turbo model!

Cheers Grant, What turbo are you running? Thats the sort of power im looking for at the moment until i can afford a forged build. Might have got my hands on a V8 intercooler with undertray. Can get a set of 440cc injectors off a mate but thinking 550cc's is the way to go. Plus just sussed how to change maps on the simtek, had to change maps today to 95ron map as i run out of Vpower. Not so much fun on low boost Joe
