  1. Might be able to attend depending on the time. Boats in aberdeen that day so would be able to make it between 10 and 2. Joe
  2. I'm with elephant, £645 fully comp on my 03 sti spec c. 25 with 8 years no claims. The cheeky buggers tried to put my renewal quote up by £200 from the year before but as soon as i said i could get a cheaper quote with their sister company admiral they instantly matched their quote. Not bad as the best i could get elsewhere was £850.
  3. I want one!!! Better start saving
  4. That + Joe = good night vienna!! haha

  8. Just like to say cheers for the service to the scoob and picking up / dropping off the car for me. Much appreciated. Cars running sweet at a nut with the new plugs fitted. Top bloke and top service. Know where my car will be going for its next service. Cheers Joe PS. Like that spec D of yours!!!!!
  9. The north sea in winter!!!!
  10. Fair play. It used to get on my tts before i had a bike.
  11. Sickens me to see this. Jealous twats!! Ive had this done to 2 cars of mine. First was my old punto gt turbo (a few years back) keyed the full length of the car. It didnt take long to find out who it was as the police had it on CCTV and showed me the video (but said there was nothing they could do as the boy was under 16 years old, well a day under 16 when he did it). That pi55ed me off. Needless to say the wee prlck wont come near the car again after i got hold of him!! Second time was my scoob wagon. Only had it 3 days and was keyed all over the bonnet and roof. Was gutted! Feel for ya mate!!
  12. Sorry but its called filtering and it is legal.
  13. People who walk in the middle of the road and look at you as if to say "what are you driving on the road for". Use the feckin pavement!! Neds who drive that close to your back bumper in there corsas you can't see their reg plate, when you have your kid in the car!! The north sea in the Winter!! Neds who think fighting in gangs makes them hard!! Neds in general! Hangovers (especially the ones that hit you in the afternoon) The lack of V power on the isle of bute!
  14. Yeah thats it down by the ferry! Couldnt get a space in the staff car park
  15. Bugger it, gonna get the k sports too
  16. Is that k sport brakes you have? Looking at getting a set, possibly on the scoobynet group buy. Cars looking good!!
  17. im up in aberdeen on thursday, joining the ship for 2 weeks but in aberdeen every 2nd day. PM me you number and ill give you a call. Cheers Joe
  18. I dont race with any corsas/novas after being smoked when i had my evo a few years back by a corsa That wasnt funny!! Found out later that it had a 2.0 turbo engine in it. It looked standard on the outside so gotta give the guy some credit!! But i totally agree, there is a time and place for racing and it aint on the roads!!
  19. welcome to scooby ownership and the forum!!
  20. Ive gone about 60mm (ish) lower than standard. With the 18inch alloys there is no scrubbing at all and the front mudflaps sit just about 20mm off the ground so may require a bit of trimming. Yeah i fitted the extended dampening adjusters for the rear and the are sitting out at the top of the rear seats for adjustment. Joe
  21. Yep a killing gonna be made there for sure!! Another way of shafting the motorists!! I thought that they were only supposed to put cameras up where there is a known accident hotspot??? Joe
  22. The plan is to get a roll centre adjust kit, anti lift kit, 24mm rear ARB and front and rear ARB links before getting the geometry done. Will be getting these fitted once i get back from my next trip at sea. The difference with only fitting the BC coilovers at the moment is already noticable and the ride isnt harsh either on a medium dampening setting. Ill let you know what the difference is with all the whiteline parts fitted. Cant wait! The modding bug has got me again
  23. Hi wuz are you at home the now? Could do with a service aswell. Joe
  24. U up in aberdeen the now callum? Will need to set my eyes on the beast at some point haha!! Joe
  25. Eventually had time to fit my BC coilovers today. Have lowered the car a good bit but its sitting nice now with the 18inch alloys. Ride isnt too harsh either compaired to the teins i had on my last scoob so over all well impressed with them. BEFORE AFTER Car needs a good wash so excuse the dirt haha. Next step is a call to Geo (cusco kid) tomorrow to order some whiteline goodies and get them fitted before i go back up to aberdeen on thursday. That should be the handling sorted and no more of the KYB shocks knocking!!! Any idea on where to get the Geometry set up other than Wallace Performance in aberdeen? Said to myself that i wasn't gonna do anything to the spec c but got the modding bug again So next plan is to up the power in a few months. Prob go up to between 350-400bhp and be happy with that but you can never get enought power Order list over the next couple of months will be a walbro fuel pump, full 3inch decat downpipe (heat wrapped) and center section on to the Apexi N1 backbox thats already on the car, fuel pressure regulator, 3port boost solenoid (or AVCR boost controller), PFR7B plugs. Then off to Andy for a remap! Prob just about max out the standard twin scroll turbo thats on the car, then eventually upgrade to a hybrid twin scroll for that wee bit extra boost Joe
