  2. Scurried my way down the Kilmacolm rd today, first time in a while and it felt super duper
  3. Cracking video Cal, as always Bit of a moment for your old man considering its his first time out in the new toy Once you improve you suspension i reckon you can do the hairpin in third, i exit the hairpin in Imys car in third at 4000k so i reckon once sorted in the bouncy ocean liner dept then with some smooth steering and commitment you may be able to keep her on the boil about 3 and a bit. This is right at the start of the torque band in the car and should give you enough momentum to pull her up the hill cleanly in third. As you have noticed shoving her out of the hairpin in second is a bit of frantic time trying to catch third after you exit in second at high circa 5k revs Liking the term of Hunting for some sport
  4. I like the look of that mate 15 out of 10 for attitude, very 22b indeed Thanks for the pictures on Sunday Neil, this one in particular does it for me
  5. What Paul is trying to do is fool an ECU If a component from any car can output the voltage he needs then he can use it regardless if what EFi ECU controlled engine he is trying to bluff. As i knew Subaru 's like to use 0 - 5v for numerous sensors in the system i reckoned using one of them would work by giving 0v at standstill and 5v at full rotational whack, TPS would even be helpful 97 - 00 cars use a pulse system from gearbox to ECU and this cuts everything at 180km/h. We fool the ECU by fitting a gearing device with 1.6 turns to 1 and this shuts the car down at 180 mph instead of 180km/h As i said someone on 22b.com would be able to confirm what voltage range a gearbox drive from a later outputs at
  6. Possible to find out what a classic gearbox speedo output voltage range is. 97 - 00 cars had a electronic feed to the speedo head and there is a good possibilty that this gives a 0 - 5v linear output, earlier 92 - 96 cars were mechanical drives from box to speedo head Someone on 22b would be able to confirm what voltage the Subaru speedo outputs at if no one on here can assist Good luck in the coming year
  7. Great day out although most of it was spent sheltering from the cold By christ it was cold How bloody cold was that
  8. Any plans to change the colouring of the lettering?
  9. There would be more performance benefit if h removed it from bonnet and shoved it up his bumholio (Hydrocarbons present in human gas expulsion would burn in the cylinders, it is unknown at the moment as to what RON human farts are)
  10. Another vote for the Blue Dragon What he done to my Blue car is nothing short of amazing SIDC discount as well which was nice
  11. Recommend a Fuelabs Reg available from Lateral Performance and delivered next day
  12. I like Egsaust and rollover struck bur I also like the bit at the end "You have to drive as i cant explain the feeling", sound like he is in the early stages of having a stroke or possibly dysentry
  13. Screens and TV's in the car have been abot in Japan for donkeys years More than likely for a rear monitor with TV input

  16. Concerned that you are on eve and wow with a mapped car sitting outside Gla meet runs start next month, time to stretch the old Silver Bullets legs
  17. Look for the original 12v feed, think it is yellow with a red tracer and utilise that If that particuler feed is not present then tap into the stereo supply for a good fusable feed Earth it off any part if the chassis

  22. Any bigger than what you have will stress the gearbox on that year of RA I would look to brakes and suspension tomake the car go quicker

  24. Me on the left and some dude called Ken My car
  25. Andy told me that the ALS feature required notice as the code needs to be written onto the board. Spare wheel has a Squiggle modified U clamp holding it from the base of the wheel to the welded bar that goes across the spare wheel well, bungee is just to keep it sitting nice and centre. Boot is off limits till i can rearrange the fuel pump/swirl pot arrangment into something more enclosed and safer. Kiera, Place in Partick on Dumbarton Rd near the cop shop that does them, think it was about £15
