Rip Colin Thoughts Are Still With You 2 Years On

Think about him every day and today even more Should not be under-emphasied how important the win in NZ was back in 93, without that crucial victory in the underpowered, overweight Legacy the hierarcy in Japan would have kept the Impreza as a JDM only road car. -
Also replies to the name Sheep I wish they would do cross platform releases so i ould race one and all regardless of system
-
Sean, i will get a copy for the PS3 as well so that we can race trans atlantic sessions but i must warn you i will whoop your ass, in the nicest possible way. Stephen if you enjoyed DIRT then DIRT2 will blow you away big style

Both my good man but mainly on the 360. That will probably change when GT5 comes out in Dec. TheSquirrel555 is my 360 gamertag

Bloody brilliant. All the cars are there including the Black X Games Hawkeye, the magnificent R4, the screaming mk2 Escort and the legend that is L555BAT ( they are not allowed to use the 555 livery so it appears Black)

Is this the same Havana hat wearing crouquet champion of south Wales that used to reside in a castle constructed entirely of yak hair and guarded by heavily armed disgruntled hedgehogs. As for goemetry I suggest any good secondry school should still be offering geometry as part of the curriculem nut if the incident still prevents being within 400 yards of any secondry education establishment then Kenny Brown or Pro-grip will do the job. That is all

Thats a tidy replacement 3 thumbs up from me

Teapot stance is now mandatory My eternal thanks goes to Strike for his herculean efforts in constructing the podium/ramp in record time. The finished article was truly breathtaking in its fit and finish and worthy of the praise it received throughout the day Another huge thanks goes to Cathy for stepping in at the retail unit, allowing me a much needed fag break and to Big J (the wounded warrior), BobbyC and Nanaki (Even though i asked not to help and enjoy the day as he burst a gut last years event he still stayed to the end to help pick up the litter) A huge bucketful of plaudits goes to the Series McRae club members for thier sterling marshalling throughout the day Now for me it is time to get away for a while after working on this tribute to my idol for the last 20 months i need a break. Working this week but next Monday i am off and the plan involves a Fat Banana, a tent and a road near the village of Inverness My sincere thanks goes to each and everyone of that supported my crazy idea Thanks for the memories

Welcome aboard. -
Great couple of days down in Yorkshire. Pretty smooth journey in the full to the gunnels with ever concievable item under the sun stuffed into the RA. Got to York for the back of 10 and proceeded to erect a tent that I bought the night before and was now trying to assemble the tent for the first by the headlight beam of the RA. Several expletives later the 4apartment with conservatory was fit for purpose. Couple of cans of Guinness, chat to Mikey and Chris (what a god damn stunning bit of kit Chris) for a while and then we retired to our top floor penthouse with ensuite jacuzzi. Dozed of quote quickly only to be rudely awoken by someone jumping on the tent. Still pissed I clambered out the tent to see what was happening to spot 7 or so guys walking away. Me. "hoi whit was that fir ya bunch of spunk nuggets" Them. "that disnae sound like a Yorkshire accent" Me. "I'm fae Glaisga" Them. "sorry we thought you were Enlish" Fix the tent then back to sleep until I think it was about 630 when I heard the PPG and Antilag of Bravehearts car giving us an early morning wake up call. Cracking event and as has been mentioned a damn good turn out from north of the border, so much so I was trying to instigate a modern day version of William Wallace and take York by surprise then onwards to Westminster. Congrats to Team Subaru fir a sterling effort and only a jump start and a missed shift cost us a clean sweep. Hats off to Pedro for a sterling display on the BBQ. The itch to take the Banana to Scoobysprint is growing stronger everytime I go to one of these events Frank, just need to negotiate a satisfactory compensation package with Imy if I was to even suggest the Banana and camping

Still gives me a hard on thinking back to that drive. The way the car transmitted it's power to the Tarmac was unbelievable especially in the rain and coping with a 300 lbs/ft jump in torque in under 500 revs was mind boggling considering the tyres were shot and the alignment was far from ideal. The diffs in this car are Grp A Tarmac spec and really inspire confidence. I would easily pay 10k for this for the quality of components used but I already have a silly Type R that floats my boat with it's unique features and quirks

possibly Knockhill this Sunday for Classic Speedfair then Chester then touring cars at Knockhill. Personally wanting to head down to Rallyday at Castle Combe to hopefully see the Mk2 in action. Will be good having the car on display at the new museum on the Clyde alongside such iconic cars as Jackie Stewart's March F1 car. The cars will be rotated regularly to keep the display fresh and hopefully the souviner hunters will be kept at bay

Agree with the Big Chap I drive a shed load of miles in a hunk of junk 90hp Diesel Sprinter, jumping into the other 4WD Banana then i realize why i love these cars and that reason is they have a soul. Going from the ****heap Sprinter to the Banana it feels like the Banana has about 10000hp and 190000rpm redline Dont do it
-
John, your an idiot No other car comes close for all round grin factor 340/400 is good going for any Scoob so dont bother trying to take it to another level and stick with it. Plus it will be a nightmare trying to find another mental Irn Bru fan with the intials JW
