  1. How much did you pay for the private registration?
  2. Depends on offence i think. If it was lifted for parking offence then V5 and release fee or if other traffic offence that required the car to be seized i believe it is the full monty, MOT V5 License and release fee This is based on about 5 yrs ago when they lifted my brothers company car for shoddy parking in Union St and had to get it back from the Avenue St compound at Parkhead. Brother had hassle as getting the V5 for a Citreon demonstrator that is registered down south was not straight forward
  3. Certainly pulls through the gears well, would like to know what spec its running Peter, pah 650, that will be for the run in period then its normal service is resumed
  4. Thought it was just you that had a screw loose but it seems that its your destiny
  5. Absoloute genius and i trust he is easily removable for the trip hom
  6. Looks good Colin. I agree that the car will go much quicker without Johnny on the front bonnet
  7. Raceparts They stock the Thermo-tec brand and deliver next day Raceparts
  8. If he goes all Dr Hillary then we get Daisie the D to sit her merry ass on him
  9. Horse sedative then, as he will be immune to all the other stuff in his magic black bag Remember this man was also a Dr and this man This man possibly This man claims he is Still after he kills you Del, he can write out the death certificate and inform your nexy of kin with a pleasant bedside manner
  10. Well done boss for giving it a go, i am sure you will do a grand job
  11. Think Peter would be in a group of his own if he took the car out on our runs
  12. No but i remember the almighty While the Japs got
  13. "Definition of Inferior-at the bottom, closer to the bottom or base, lower in place, rank or quality=$hite"....Your off the mark description of inferior and linked with another quote from yourself, albeit toungue in cheek "do you think one of you could phone me a take-away as i'm an inferior Subaru salesman and can't use my phone($hite)" I dont drink, any more facts you need to know
  14. You are getting a bit ott inferring that i said you were a ****e salesman, from what i can see you are a very good salesman. Need to lay off the wine i reckon and stick to the popcorn
  15. Not wanting to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs but a basic acronym like JDM should be understood before posting that My car is based on a V3 Type R V-Limited and was originally White
  16. I said inferior to the equivalent JDM product and not "pile of $hit" Please dont misquote me even though i know nothing, i know what i am saying. Being a salesman for Subaru in the UK selling a product specified for the UK then you would be 5 coconuts short of a Bounty Bar at a Bounty Bar convention if you told them that they could get a vastly superior car going elsewhere.
  17. You would have never fitted into the slimmer JDM seats
  18. With TRIAL being the JDM equivalent of RCMS/Zen/Lateral then i must disagree and say that my car is very much JDM JDM Base model JDM aftermarket parts Only thing UK spec is the ECU with subsequent map, recently fitted Goodyear tyres and fuel pressure regulator so 99.7253% JDM and the rest UK parts. Mid 60's reference was a wish for me so i could have got into an Impreza earlier than i did but no regrets on that part as i would have rather came to game at the age i did than jump into one at 17 years old and promptly shove it up a tree. The Suzuki, Orion and Vtec Honda was a decent learning curve before jumping into a JDM Impreza. x
  19. I knew what the car was when it was going through the forest in Kielder with a nutty Scotsman behind the wheel producing the most glorious sound i have heard eminating from any motor vehicle. I also know of its previous rally models like the Legacy, again driven to success by Colin and the XT which was piloted by Mr Bourne in the Asia Pacific Championship, so do i get a prize or what At the time i was 20 years old and finishing my time in Melvin Motors. If only i had been born in the mid 60's then age would possibly have afforded me the luxery of such a fine vehicle but alas at 20 i was driving a A reg SJ410, thems the breaks as now of i own the only Trial Edition car in the world produced in Yellow and the only 1 of the 5 built in the UK. Got my first Subau at 27 and paid 1000plus to insure a 93 WRX that i paid 7500 for and it has been JDM all the way ever since, if only my faither had podgered ma maw 10 years earlier things may have been different. IM stands for International Motors, the fine and upstanding importer of UK spec vehicles into our country
  20. Your right JAC, my apologies i was thinking of the WRX with the PPP upgrade. The Bugeye STI UK was indeed circa 300bhp from the factory when fitted with the aftermarket components developed by Prodrive, still down on the JDM equivilent but a good effort
