  1. Buy mine, STI Version 2 555 Available for a good price Will be detailed, serviced and checked over by AndyF on the ECU front prior to sale Heck i will even source a replacement front bumper if you dont like that one
  2. £600 is a damn good price Be looking for some feedback sometime in the future from you regarding ride quality
  3. Soon as we know the rearranged date i will get the info out there as soon as possible Sorry for any inconvenience caused by the late call off
  4. Changing the routing of the pipework so that the fuel flows in parallel instead of in the factory design which feeds the injectors in series. This involves some butchery of the std pipework to make this mod and once the pipework is cut it needs reflared to allow the jubilee clip to get a good grip/seal Coulty's incident comes to mind at Charing Cross Anyone with anything non std in the fuel system should have it checked by an appropriate engineer Only the brave went into to check Playsatans car at Falkirk when it developed a small puddle
  5. Thats how i felt last week watching all the southerners slip slide about in 1 inch of slush The glee on my face when it started to lie today was there for all to see
  6. Be all that salty sea air blowing in from the North Sea
  7. Twas grand in Ikea car park Due to previous experience in Snow and doing th Ari Vatenan thing i put the Commander onto water temp . Had fun till she hit 92c then stopped for a while, poor wee GTI-R Sunny owner proceeded to carry on giving it dokey and last we saw was the bonnet still up when we left First full scandi flick without the handbrake, a true moment of beauty and while on the phone to Wilky I bloody love the snow
  8. Honostly i could cry at the utter devestation Though i do like your style in continueing to Crail Rex Rocket Borheid Bomber ????????????????
  9. Agree wholeheartedly With hindsight i would have done one or two things different
  10. Not that i could condone that type of thing but cough cough
  11. Due to the fact it is a lady and she would have no dangly bits, my proposed suggestion of cutting of thier tadger and auctioning that goes out the window List another one and that should prevent any more bids on 298
  12. Subject to the payments clearing we are now at a confirmed £53000 Just need to figure out how to raise the other £2555 Anyone want to buy a signed kidney? In the begining i would have been chuffed if we had raised £10k for what was essentially driving from A to B and parking a few cars NCP style, to have raised over £50k really knocks me sideways when i think about it Without the help and support of the Subaru community as a whole it would never have got as big as it did For the small few, you know who you are, that stood back waiting for me to fall on my face........Get it right round ye, as we say round these parts. Happy days indeed
  13. Another thing they do in Scandinavia is teach them skid control at driving theory/lesson/test stage of thir driving career as opposed to the Blighty method of where the newly qualified driver learns how to skid the first time it happens, usually with hilarious results Now that would help immensly as opposed to reversing around a corner whilst keeping perpindiculer to the kerb bahooky
  14. Truly a dedicated person to go to that length Hats off to him
  15. This may explain Ebay link
  16. Think it means FLAT or maybe its no FLAT, we will find out when we get there if it is flat or not

  18. Scared the bee-jeesus out of me as it was coming to a close Winner is Scottish as well (hence the post) and 2 out of the rest are staying in Scotland
  19. A lot of money has just been paid for print 555 For the rest of them 550 - 554 went for between 400 and 500 and 160 for the copy of the autographed sticker Good finale to the event i reckon and deepest sincere thanks to whoever it was that paid that amount for 555
  20. Ebay for the cable i believe and 260hp as std
  21. Can only imagine the shenanigans 3 thumbs up from me
  22. It costs about 3K to put all the running gear and electrics into a Sport from a WRX so with early cars about 2k. I know of one eejit that put V3 STI running gear into a 94 Sport and left the exterior std, that included the 2 pot fronts and drum rears. Kept it as a Sport on the V5 and paid only for a Sport insurance policy, worked out fine till he hit a No74 Bus up the rear end totaling the car and bus. Insurance company and bus company are now in the process of sueing his ass for 100K plus, he now drives a Fiesta very slowly
  23. Edited for political correctness
  24. Is there anyone else apart from Andy?
  25. Yes Professor, instead of seeing how many fruit pastiles it would take to choke a Peregrine Falcon we could see how much boost a bugeye Spec C can take
