It costs about 3K to put all the running gear and electrics into a Sport from a WRX so with early cars about 2k. I know of one eejit that put V3 STI running gear into a 94 Sport and left the exterior std, that included the 2 pot fronts and drum rears. Kept it as a Sport on the V5 and paid only for a Sport insurance policy, worked out fine till he hit a No74 Bus up the rear end totaling the car and bus. Insurance company and bus company are now in the process of sueing his ass for 100K plus, he now drives a Fiesta very slowly
