  1. Rear anti-lift kit possibly.... or preferably both front and rear.
  2. GFB do one. As do Prodrive (as fitted to RB320) - but the Prodrive is well expensive. Speak to Duncan at Hypertech about the GFB. Supposedly shortens the throw between 3rd and 4th by about 40%.. but can't remember the exact figures.
  3. Sounding good mate. Not many people about stripping out newages so will be good to see how it turns out..
  4. If the PPG is rated for 400bhp in first and second I would think that's for the helical cut. The straight cut synchro will be rated for a good bit more. If I was you I would have a look at this and phone them. http://www.zenperformance.co.uk/p/drivetrain Good luck. Mark
  5. Welcome to Scotland! I'm sure you will love it.. Hope you get everything that you are looking for sorted out.. Lovely Scooby you have as well! Love the Rally-X photo! Cheers, Mark
  6. Nice one mate!! That's what I like to see, taking the bull by the horns.. I think you'll end up over the moon that you never sold the car.. Keep us updated, looking forward to seeing the progress.. Got me thinking about the Hawkeye now......
  7. Haven't heard of Newera, but have been checking out a lot of cars from SVA imports, and they seem to have a LOT of nice cars. Unfortunately checking online is as far as it has gone, so not much help to you. I've never heard anything negative though - so no news can be good news.. Good luck...
  8. If you get the reg plates and pass them on to the boys in blue then it might not do any harm. If nothing else it shows that you are concerned about it, and if anything did happen that would work in your favour. Also I don't think they would tell the scumbags that it was related to your car. They might just check them out etc. But then your other plans don't sound bad either...
  9. Looks too small for an STI scoop. Definitely not for a blobeye, or a hawkeye.. Could be bug, but still looks too small.. I'd say WRX.
  10. Just what's been said already mate, and it's obviously had a good spray etc. to get all the salt and road grime off it? Depending on how long you are storing it I would think about giving it a roll out and maybe a short run round the block every few weeks to get it all up to temperature and keep things free, and clean up the discs. Alternatively give the discs a good wipe with oil and keep an eye on them. Basically just keep everything clean, don't leave the handbrake on, and don't let it think it's staying there forever! Good opportunity to tinker with a few bits and bobs yourself if you feel like it. Cheers.
  11. Can't help you because I've never had a Classic (yet).... but you'll get an absolute stormer for £5,000 I know that much! Good luck.
  12. Wheels are lovely mate. Your car is stunning as well, love the black grilles.
  13. No idea. Stronger gear kit? I don't know Jac or his car. But I wouldn't trust the standard 6 speed for any length of time with 600bhp.
  14. No it won't. Not for long anyway.. and if it's not new/great condition, then not at all. Andy F wrecked his gearbox on his Spec-C with 470/520. Can't speak for condition of the 'box beforehand, but it happened.
  15. Really sorry to hear this mate.... I know how I felt when I smashed my first one, so can only begin to guess how you must be feeling when it was nothing to do with you!! All I can say is I hope the insurance pay out as much as possible, take it on the chin and move on.. Cheers.
  16. £3500-£4000 I think mate. Shocking I know, maybe you'll get more but there have been a lot of nice high spec cars for sale recently and they have struggled to sell for what appeared to be low prices. Not sure how much you were thinking? Cheers.
  17. I think they look great mate! Really really good. Where did you get them from?
  18. I know the road well, and as you said at that time of day it's full! Even when it's quiet overtaking is not really an option - so the speed of the car in front is your speed... so what's the point in behaving like he did?? People like that amaze me... Sometimes I dab the brakes and then boot it for a few yards to get a gap, sometimes I put the rear fog light on, and sometimes I make sure they can see me and give them the bird! Many an otherwise calm drive has been spoiled by people like that, when there's not a chance to get out their way by booting it.
  19. Stunning car mate, can't beat black when it's clean and tidy.
  20. Jeeso mate... you don't mess around do you!! Looks great, nice one.
  21. Absolutely awesome! Well pleased that he smashed the 9 seconds. Well done Andy.
  22. Punted my fiances 206 with them and got a decent price for it. My mate has also just had a Clio 197 valued with them at a very good price. There's an office in Hillington. Maybe not the best place for cherished cars like some of the scoobs on here though, never going to get top money. When I was in the guy had just bought a low mileage Series Mcrae for £1800.
