i asked this question over the phone after it saying 5 days delivery after ordering online. was told it is an offence to not display tax disc however if it is ordered online and you are waiting on delivery if you get a fine for not displaying tax you state that tax was in post and give your reference number and the fine gets dropped. was told best option was to print out a copy of the email with the ref number and leave on dash board, if a warden see's that he/she would normally check the ref number before giving the ticket

been getting the 32 sensor coming up for a while now but car is having no issues with it, drives normal, passed emissions test for mot no problem so i have just been resetting it. went for a run to penicuik to the off road center at lamancha last sunday and drove car from dundee there and back without problems or without cel coming on, not moved car all week and when i started it today the cel light would not go off. getting the knock code now after checking. any ideas why the knock sensor is coming on after the car was fine on the run and its just been parked up all week? also any ideas why i'm getting the 22 code? car runs perfect so dont think its the maf and passed mot so dont think its the lambda sensor cheers for any help

is the thing on the dash not the crappy compass thing thats a optional extra on forrester? it look exactly like the same thing i got in my car, if it is and you want instructions for it give me a shout as i found them after weeks of searching the net. there is nothing at all in impreza manual that relates to it

had the same problem 2 weeks before xmas on my 99. front drivers jammed on fully and turned disc blue with the heat http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Import-Car-Parts-...1638.m118.l1247 or type impreza caliper kit into ebay this guy sells caliper service kits and delivers very fast (not sure if u have 4 pots or not though) i stripped both mine completely down binned 4 worst pistons and kept 4 that were still good, bought 1 kit containing 4 new pistons and seals and another kit with just the seals. never done anything like this before but was super easy. brakes are now good as new also took the time to paint them properly and they look far better too now

this might sound like a very silly question also sorry for hijacking the thread but i thought now's a good time to ask:) what is the header tank and the expansion tanks for? i know both are the cooling system but i am used to having a non turbo car and just having the 1 point to fill up with coolant. if i needed to top up coolant would it go in ht or et?

just an idea but have you looked at brakes? i had sticking pistons in calipers and car would pull to the right as that brake was always on. doubt you would have caliper problems with the year of your car but you never know

i've had to turn the heating off in the garage as the salt is drying on the car and a nightmare to wash off. collecting piles of salt along the skirts. never known so much salt to be put on a road before (and thats even counting when we used to get winters frosts in october snow over xmas, dont get that now but even more salt wtf)

follow the things that look like brake pipes, should be the fuel lines as brake lines run under the car i think
