  3. i was sitting behind him on riverside drive at swallow circle and noticed the irish plates, it wasn't until i was driving up M90 and seen his driving that i was kicking myself at not paying more attention to his plates
  4. black blob WRX irish number plates mcrae sticker on boot under subaru lettering. takes alot to shock me but your a danger to other traffic!! 5.30pm rush hour traffic driving up M90 at 90+ under taking. i counted 4 cars who were about to pull back into slow lane and your quality driving nearly caused a pile up
  5. never knew you got white uk sti's, can't be many of them *edit* sorry for off topic
  6. ah is that your white blobeye on ebay? looks really nice
  7. best i have had is 23mpg, gonna have to see what i can get now
  8. same here, sold the classic last summer. recaro fits nice in the isofix points too, that was my main point for why i needed 1 steve
  9. yeh good bunch up there, i'm through on tuesday for a service and a chat about remap seeing as i have been collecting parts for last wee while
  10. i'm getting toyo t1 sports fitted tomorrow, will let you know how i find them
  11. yeh, sure makes a huge improvement. i put everthing on together and what a difference, love how sharp the steering feels not been very far in it yet due to either working or raining but looking forward to getting the geo done and getting out on a run in the better weather. currently tyres are just on the legal limit and geo's well off so lots of tiptoeing around round-a-bouts in the wet
  12. last month i fitted 22mm front, 24mm rear whiteline arb's, cdf racing droplinks and anti lift kit and BC coilovers. at the end of the month fitting 4 Vredestein sessanta tyres then getting the geo looked at.
  13. i was going to try the T1R's but have read alot of posts on SN saying they have a soft side wall, going to try the Vredestein SESSANTA as these get good reviews wet and dry and are simmilar price to the toyo's
  14. going by bumper washer jets its a uk model, also has pre facelift front bumper
  15. Don't think he'll be the stig for much longer now though
  16. yes when i went to see the car i thought they'd just need a bit of oil, was searching Strictly Technical last night just going through the pages and came across a post about how it fix it (can't find it today). Basically the belt is rubbing off the trim inside when you pull the belt out, take the trim off, has 1 popper at the rear and just pulls off. inside the trim you will see where the belt is rubbing, there are 3 strengthening tabs which run across the trim, i cut the top 2 down flush and put it all back together, no squeaks easy jobs takes about 15min per side
  17. thanks for the comments well, fixed the squeaky seatbelts and got the headlights out so will take them in the house and do them tonight notsosmall, yeh its been a while since i was out last. always mean to make more meets but between working nights, fixing the jeep and the other half i don't get much free time. hopefully make more meets, need a good run trogg, yeh the jeeps the sunday toy it has 5" suspension lift and 31" tyres. 6mpg
  18. pic's are not the best as i can't be bothered hanging about (just want it in the garage to start the cleaning ) had my green uk turbo 3 years and decided it was time for a change. picked this up last night, other toy, i'm more of a "lurker" on this site, usually popping on every other day to read posts and learn lots of handy tips. todays jobs are, the squeaky seat belt fix (cutting the tabs thing as both my fronts are driving me mad), detango (just got the new bulbs ), then a good clean. next jobs will be getting any stone chips sorted, windows tinted, zunsports black grills and mudflaps. just got to get used to that extra gear now
  19. i was just up there today and got mine booked in for the end of the month they've always done a great job on my old cars. mine is getting a tidy up before a trade in on a blobeye i think or a type r, tough choice great to be back in it tho, been off the road for a year whilst i built the jeep and picked it up today after its mot. i forgot how good the subaru is too drive! like the colour of yours, very tidy
  20. my stay away would be dudhope coachworks, mate a few years ago got a polo bumper sprayed there after a bump, was cheap but never looked that great. i done mine my splitter a week before the mcrae gathering with a couple of cans from halfords, came out surprisingly well so i just left it that way. few stone chips and rust now though so i'll use north isla st motors as they used to do a great job on my old corrado
  21. can get them online http://www.totalcarmagazines.co.uk/currentissues.htm
