-
haha i'd like to watch them try and start that on a cold day after its not been used for a couple of months
-
lol yes but the max power events at crail a few years back were good and it was worth £10 per person, monster trucks, jet quads, jet cars guys parachuting, russ swift displays ect now they take the £10er and there is no show, the last i went to max power never sent anyone up we used to go with 3 cars full £150 hardly worth it, better going to thrash and dash days to watch the strip when its quieter
-
thats a rip off, £10 a person and not alot happens. last 1 i went to just had chav with bottles of buckie and socks tucked in, few sheds getting thrashed on the burn out area, some good things on the strip mind you but the only thing max power had there was a photographer its been a long time since the monster trucks and jet cars ect attended this
-

could be alarm/fuel relay, next time it happens listen out for fuel pump on ignition. i was driving home from glasgow and car died in fast lane would try and start but not run, after 10 mins car started and drove home. thought it was fuel pump blocked so took it out and cleaned the filter bag and thought that was it, had no problems for a month the second time was coming home from inverness and car died pulled over and it started no problems and came home the next morning i left car running for an hour with heaters on full as i suspected something elec was overheating and cutting out as this happened before in a corrado with a broken fuel relay turned car off and it would'nt start again, fuel pump was not working. tested relay and it was working as the power was going to alarm but not coming out alarm and going to fuel pump. contacted sigma sam in tech section and he said a few people have had this problem in classic's with the m30 alarm. if the walbro fuel pump draws too much power due to blockage it can short conections in the alarm. i wired direct from fuel replay to fuel pump and my problem is sorted.......must remember to get it fixed though steve

taken from corgi, looks like the mini is out now my mate also seen in "trucker" magazine that corgi will also be bringing out the air brushed lorry. Corgi has secured an exclusive agreement with Colin McRae Motorsport Ltd to launch a fitting tribute to the 1995 World Rally Champion. This collection of 1:43 scale die-cast replica models will serve as a lasting memorial to one of the most flamboyant and successful rally drivers ever to grace the World Rally Championship Stage. The ‘Colin McRae Tribute Collection’ will feature fourteen of the most important competition cars of Colin’s career. Eleven of the bespoke cars created for the range will require new tooling with an investment of nearly £250,000 – which highlights Corgi’s long lasting commitment to this range and also demonstrates their desire to branch out into producing more modern die-cast models. Highlights from the range due out in 2009 include: The 707 LHT Mini Cooper – This model not only celebrates Colin McRae’s first ever championship win aged 16 in the West of Scotland Autotest Championship but also marks the 50th Anniversary of the Mini, another Great British icon (In stores now). The Talbot Sunbeam TI – A fantastic reproduction of Colin’s first ever rally car from the 1986 Scottish Rally championships (Coming out November 2009). In 2010 and 2011 the range will continue its progression through Colin’s illustrious career, creating models including the Subaru Legacy 2000cc Turbo in which Colin won every round on the way to his second consecutive British Rally Championship victory in 1992. A replica of the Subaru Impreza which took him to glory in the 1995 World Rally Championship and the Colin McRae R4, designed and tested by Colin himself, utilising his wealth of experience in all motorsport disciplines to produce the ultimate competition car. Frank Martin, Chief Executive of Hornby commented, ‘We are truly honoured to be working with Colin McRae Motorsport Ltd on this range that we feel is a fitting tribute to Colin. We feel that over the three year roll out Corgi and Colin McRae fans alike will see the range flourish and progress.’ Corgi is particularly proud to be working with Colin McRae Motorsport Ltd to highlight the Colin McRae Vision. This charitable initiative was set up as a direct result of the worldwide support that followed the tragic accident involving Colin, his son Johnny and family friends Graeme Duncan and Ben Porcelli in September 2007. On behalf of the McRae family, Jimmy McRae added, ‘We are delighted to be able to work with an iconic name such as Corgi, to produce what will be a fitting tribute collection in Colin’s memory. We hope that the sales revenues will be such that they are able to make a significant contribution towards the Colin McRae Vision and its ongoing charitable initiatives’ The ‘Vision’ will be raising money for a range of children’s charities but also plan to be pro-active in introducing training and rehabilitation initiatives to help reduce the currently unacceptable toll of fatal accidents involving young drivers in the 17-25 year old age bracket. Information on the Colin McRae Vision will feature on all Corgi Colin McRae Tribute Collection packaging

mine had full subaru service history when i bought it 2 years ago, i decided to just stick it my mates garage for basic services (could do it myself but want his stamps). i'm on 90000 and gonna stick it in AWD for a big serivce at 100000 (mainly for my peice of mind) i thought well as its not an sti or type r i can't see it worth it on mine plus its getting to 10 years old now anway and coming up for 100000 miles in the 2 years i've prob lost 1500 - 2000 on the car value and i dont think full sub history would bump the value up any steve
