Cool1 they happy for us to just head up for 10am without any other special reservations? If so.. I'll pencil myself in 1. ScoUK 2. 3. 4. I'm sure a few others wouldn't mind comign along.. It coudl practically be a Moray meet in itself Car needs a wash though.....

Cool! I'm sure we could get a few people together at last minute if needs be..

LOL! there's an idea! Might go along actually see what's what.. Get some inspiration! But instead of Texas line dancing we coudl have japanese girls in bikinis!!!. .. I know there's probably laws against that sort of thing..
-
Aye.. Was speaking (sort of) to ScoobyDoom about that very suggestion today.. But with it beinga USA style party not sure the Jap's would be welcomed as much.. Need to keep an eye out for similar events though! Gonna start looking into getting a SIDC banner made up and some leafelts designed.... So we can quickly jump on these things...

It's a "Yee-haa!" time with American Cars/Bikes and all in an american theme! http://www.moray-muscle-group.co.uk/

Saw the signs for this on the way into work this morning.. Did wonder what was going on.. I didn't realise there was so much space down there!

Actually I hope not!!!!! If they are thinking about gatecrashing any of the events there will be hell to pay!! As much as TG is entertaining at times, the last thing we need is that lot sticking their nose in and cocking up what is going to be a great weekend!! On the other hand if he's up doing somethign sensible like giving the Impreza a proper "road" test, that it deserves then, yeehaa!

Utter Lunacy!!!!! ... But I like it!!! Saloon looks pretty good there (relatively speaking)! IMHO

Yeah Given dealers are asking a heck of a lot more it's a good price... But always nice to know if you can get them cheaper still Anyone for a group buy!

WooT! quick reply! D'oh! How much £££ we talking from a OEM one dealer or similar? In saying that just got one of my most economical tanks of fuel ever.... Hmmnn... Still would't mind testing it first... Removed the up-pipe couple months ago which may have disturbed it..

Posted something similar in Strictly Technical but got no response as yet, But I know some of you guys have gotten your hands dirty so I'll try here.. COuple of times recently I've had the CEL code P1139 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Now from my understanding (which may be flawed) this is the o2 sensor on the headers just before the up-pipe (the awkward one) Whcih unfortuantely helps control the AFR. However I also believe that hte sensor has a built in heater element to help it heat up quickly without initiall relying on exhaust gases.. Now the CEL has only come on within 2 minutes of startign the car but by the time I get home and check it the CEL is no longer shows an active code but remains in the history so it's not a permanent error. Now given the error description I reckon the sensor itself is fine, but the heating element part is slightly duff.. Thing is, how much harm is it likely to cause.. Any suggestions as to what may cause this, any way to test the sensor?.. And finally if a replacment is in order how much do those suchers cost!? and where from?

Interesting......... Surely someone must have spotted that!

Hubba Hubba! And showing off the speckles as well.. *drool* . o O (Just spent most of the day cleaning and waxing mine.. Small dribble of bird crap that's been on the scoop less than 24hrs already started eating away at the paint! grrr!)

To be honest, I can't say I've noticed it beign quiet on here.. But if it has, it tends to be the same across the Net.. Start of the summer holidays, great weather outside, the last thing people want to do it is sit inside at obscene temps infront of a computer screen! They are out enjoying life! I've been on and run many online communities over the last 10 years and it's the same every year.. It's just saddos like me that post here all through the day and instead of being outside doing something usefull

That looks pretty smart actually!! Had a few suggestions of white wheels and thought nah, but actualyl that' looks pretty neat! All hail the red Bugeyes! IT's an all or nothing affair... If you only colour code part of it it' looks crap from the side, the lines don't flow properly..... Leavign them black shoudl go well with the bright wheels! IMHO

The Buggers!!! Howd it happen.. Just someone not looking where they were going when pulling of a drive? Hope it gets sorted soon and at minimal cost to you! Like the colour!... & someone has been polishing I'm sort of on the lookout for a cheap 1.4 focus for running about in at the mo...

Nice one! Only thing to point out is wait at least 2 weeks before polishing the new painted surfaces and then another two weeks before waxing! This allowes plenty of time fo rhte paint to cure to the surface before cutting it down with polish (May have already been done by the paintshop to some degree) and sealing it with wax.. This will make sure you get the best and longest lasting finish possible..

WEll I'm gonna be totally different and say keep it as it is... I'm not a fan of the whole debadging thing.. I drive a Subaru Impreza and very proud of it! WTF! woudl you want to take the badging off it liek a chaved up nova tryign to be somethign it's not! Impreza's are better than that! In fact I nearly managed to persuade my brother to remove the silly subary oval logo from the boot of his RB320 and put S U B A R U on it because IMHO it looks soooo much better... </rant mode off> -
