Think he's having a giraffe, either that, or he has no idea what he's talking about... Looking at that pics, you can see a front mount in the bumper, but no IC water spray there... then its got the Top mount too... but you cant see the bonnet to see if it even has it there... Perhaps he meant that "there's a font mount inter-cooler purely for bragging rights, and that there is in fact no plumbing connecting it to anything"... I like the way that he says "water spray button on dash (like mini nos)" Eh???? Also states that it has Air con, and the dials are there for it in the dash, but, as far as I can see (it may be out of shot) there's only one radiator (Plus the "front mount IC" in the bumper) and I cant see the bit of the engine bay that the Aircon would sit... but Don't you have to remove the Aircon to fit a front-mount inter-cooler?

Dude, I've not had a chance to reply to this thread as I've been down at Dave's this weekend, but I think I said it elsewhere, So glad that you are OK, but absolutely gutted for you... I know how much of you, you put into your cars, and it was a special car before you even got it... Cant even begin to imagine how your feeling right now... Hope everything gets sorted soon though and you can move on in whatever direction that you want to go after this... (Hope you dont mind me posting these pics - I'll remove them if you want)

You know, that you dont have to get a bug eye, unless you are specifically looking for the newest car that you can afford... You can get some Classics these days and get a fair bit for your money... I think that every car that you look at that's about that kind of age, your are going to get to see some really tired cars, but by contrast, you will get some that are really good... What your going to find is that prices vary depending on what they owner WANTS to get for them, and its not unusual for an owner to want too much because they paid a good bit more not that long ago... but prices have dropped a lot in recent years... Also, its worth remembering before you buy, that they are not the cheapest cars to run, and just be prepared for that, You'll find that its worth it... But I'd say look more at the classics anyways, you'll probably find that you'll get a slightly better car for the money...

To be honest there Del, I think that 2 days is just right for a big run, I was half dead the next day as it was, never mind adding another to it... I do think that a shorter run might be the way ahead... one big run, and a few shorter regional runs... One thing that we did do a few years ago, was have a shorter day trip to balmoral, have a wee BBQ, and away again, all regions taking a different route in...

Personally I agree that you really need to be reporting it to the police, and not to the forum... if it was my car, I certainly wouldn't want it waved in my face on you tube, especially when you have stated that there is more info.... I have to be honest, if you know more but wont take it to the police, then I couldn't trust you as far as I could throw you, and to be fair, your behaviour on here is such that it wouldn't surprise me that you had something to do with it... Stephen, I think that you should perhaps contact the police with Scoobzie/Diablo/RACERX's IP, and tell them that they claim to have info on the spate of thefts, if indeed they are not connected with them...

Pete, those were some great pics, I wished that I could take some, but we were slightly more... commited... up at the front... was no chance of gettting the camera out over that pass... Although I'm now thinking about getting over there with my camera again soon....
