  1. You know dave, You really shouldn't be taking it out on Lorna... She just couldn't help herself...
  2. The Producer did a very good post about it on the TopGear website... Certainly interesting, and I certainly think that there's nothing wrong with what they are doing tbh... Linky@ http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2010...tig-he-is-ours/
  3. That sounds a bit bizzare, but at least you got it sorted now, nice one.
  4. An older shot of me, from the year 2000, My car was being manufactured about this time... ...and Yes, that is a minefield...
  5. LOL Happy birthday manny! Hope it was a good one!
  6. I should know? I don't I thought that you were at least older than me... Admittedly were talking 6 months, but that's by the by... ;-) See how things are panning out for me, but I may come down for a bit of banter on Thursday.. but maybe not... Who knows...
  7. Today I am mostly clearing the flat out... Just my stuff, which would appear to be most of everything so far... Where did all this stuff come from!!! Oh and I didn't bother with bed, its for pansies... as a result I'm feeling somewhat... Special...
  8. Don't you mean top Hose Ross? Seeing that the air will be at the top of the rad...
  9. What??? You mean that Dr Death is only 30???? I'm stunned! (Happy birthday mate!)
  10. All sorts of bad things mate. Can't really go into it to be honest.
  11. Damn! Where is a box of popcorn when you need it!!!
  12. The Connection for the fan by the way, is on the back of your radiator, clipped to the fan shroud, so you wouldn't have disturbed it doing your lights...
  13. I should add that leave it running when your letting her stand, just to let the heat build up in the engine bay without cooling air coming in... But the fact that the gauge came back down again when you were in moving traffic to me suggests that the gauge is working...
  14. possibly mate, but tell me, have you got mounted gauges, or are you just taking it off of your dashboard gauge? reason that I ask, is that I've had radiator problems recently, and it caused my oil temp to shoot up past 130Deg C and the Dash Gauge barely blinked... it should be easy enough to tell if your fans are working, just by taking the car out and warm it up properly, get home and let her stand for 10 minutes, you'll probably find that the fan will either come on or not... if it doesn't work then it's a case of figureing out if it's the thermostat or the the fan itself which shouldn't be a major challenge....
  15. I'll bet he want's to know what a Cullen Skank is.... lol Ooops I mean Cullen SKINK....
  16. Took you 7 goes though... hehehe Still faster than me though!
  17. I'd love to, but ones enough of a handful for me just now... if it was one of your bikes you were selling it might be more likely... (although realistically not...) Edited because I clearly never went to school... Dear lord...
  18. Well that's something that I never knew... would explain why he's been mostly off the radar for so long then...
  19. Really? Thats a shame, but then I think that it has a lot to do with not really being mentioned these days, I've not heard anyone speak of him for ages... Which is weird, He's saved my bacon on a few occasions...
  20. http://www.glenburgiecars.co.uk/SUBARU.htm Although note, I've never used him for servicing, but some others I think have...
  21. There's also Liam at GlenBurgie too which is slightly closer outside Forres, but they are more of a pain to find to be honest, they do some mechanical things and I think, although I can't remember that they also might do servicing, but they are a scooby breaker, so they are a good place to get second hand spares, should you require anything... Although I've not been up to them for a good long while now...
  22. I had the day from hell today. That is all.
  23. Yer heid Read! Get yersel doon the head-shrinker pronto!
