  1. The Connection for the fan by the way, is on the back of your radiator, clipped to the fan shroud, so you wouldn't have disturbed it doing your lights...
  2. I should add that leave it running when your letting her stand, just to let the heat build up in the engine bay without cooling air coming in... But the fact that the gauge came back down again when you were in moving traffic to me suggests that the gauge is working...
  3. possibly mate, but tell me, have you got mounted gauges, or are you just taking it off of your dashboard gauge? reason that I ask, is that I've had radiator problems recently, and it caused my oil temp to shoot up past 130Deg C and the Dash Gauge barely blinked... it should be easy enough to tell if your fans are working, just by taking the car out and warm it up properly, get home and let her stand for 10 minutes, you'll probably find that the fan will either come on or not... if it doesn't work then it's a case of figureing out if it's the thermostat or the the fan itself which shouldn't be a major challenge....
  4. I'll bet he want's to know what a Cullen Skank is.... lol Ooops I mean Cullen SKINK....
  5. Took you 7 goes though... hehehe Still faster than me though!
  6. I'd love to, but ones enough of a handful for me just now... if it was one of your bikes you were selling it might be more likely... (although realistically not...) Edited because I clearly never went to school... Dear lord...
  7. Well that's something that I never knew... would explain why he's been mostly off the radar for so long then...
  8. Really? Thats a shame, but then I think that it has a lot to do with not really being mentioned these days, I've not heard anyone speak of him for ages... Which is weird, He's saved my bacon on a few occasions...
  9. http://www.glenburgiecars.co.uk/SUBARU.htm Although note, I've never used him for servicing, but some others I think have...
  10. There's also Liam at GlenBurgie too which is slightly closer outside Forres, but they are more of a pain to find to be honest, they do some mechanical things and I think, although I can't remember that they also might do servicing, but they are a scooby breaker, so they are a good place to get second hand spares, should you require anything... Although I've not been up to them for a good long while now...
  11. Yer heid Read! Get yersel doon the head-shrinker pronto!
  12. Happy Birthday Euan! Hope you hae a good 'een loon!
  13. Well he'd be well off his patch then Blair, the incident was in Paisley...
  14. And the pug 309... that was released at the same time... I know I have all 6 released so far, sitting across the room... So is the prospect of the massive travel scared the living crap out of you yet???
  15. My skirts are not coded either, same age etc... Oh, and your selling Ally, then good luck with the sale, I've always liked your car, its a really nice one and very well looked after. Hope your not going to be a stranger on here though! (not that we see you too often either mind...)
  16. Makes it worse when they are advertising the forums too... I'd be guessing that it might have been the .net crowd, rather than here, or at least I would hope so, because it's antics like that, and dangerous driving, that give us all a bad name...
  17. Personally, I don't like the wheels, but then that's why I took them off... You have a cracker there though, looks even better condition than my one was in when I got it... Certainly doesn't look that good now... :-(
  18. Ah I was just looking at the link, and I was also wondering what on earth was so bad about it..., but then if they have de-wrapped that then I'm pretty dissapointed... Its different, and with those graphics, it had a bit of history to go with it, even though its not the original car, no one complains about when people put on the SWRT graphics...... Just because it's not to everyone's taste, doesn't mean that its bad... I kinda like that, Although I prefer the grey one!
  19. Check to make sure that the photos that you are trying to select are jpeg too... (Will have .jpg at the end of the file name...) if you have had it through a photoediting program, sometimes they save them as a different format...
  20. Grant, I've just text you, (Hope your Facebook is right) Heading to Glasgow in a minute...
  21. Yeah, I doubt that you would have any problems with the kit...
  22. Yeah, saw him at Alford last weekend and he was telling me... I'm pretty behind on the news it seems...
  23. Yeah but I'm under the Impression that Litchfield does not use them any more because of problems various he's been having with them, and I also I've been hearing other stories about them that is not exactly encouraging, from the people that have been using them... I believe that he's doing his own work these days, although I'm not sure about that... However, I'm 90% certain that they should be OK to buy parts from...
  24. Was going to say, that if your kicking about up here I wouldn't mind having a play and a chat about camera gear/ Scoobies... Nice looking car you have there too, Good example of how wheels can make all the difference to the look of a car... Dark wheels suit it. Is that the PFF7s? or the replicas?
