  1. This does not sound particularly fair... I'd get yourself a solicitor mate, as it sounds like they are being pretty unfair about the whole thing... I'm pretty certain that they have to confirm that you have been informed before they can do you for failing to appear... Sure that it has to be signed for... Sounds like they are playing funny buggers to be honest mate... I mean, no matter what you did, you put your hands up, you showed willing, it was them that didn't inform you. Oh, and by the way, there's a good chance that you are about to lose your licence straight off the bat... (I'm no expert, but sure they only generally call you in to court for that reason...)
  2. Got on it boys and girls, now's your chance to say what you want!!!!
  3. I'm in the same boat as Stephen, 5 years, and I've had to replace the Windscreen no less than 4-5 times... plus a couple repairs too... Although I've been luckier with this car, as I got a chip with a small crack in it not long after I bought the car, and its been holding fine since I got it, I thought that it would have gone by now... even thought the crappy weather...
  4. Looks good mate! And I see that you have the Hi-Lo Diff too, that would have been handy a couple of months ago! lol
  5. Nice! Be guessing thought that its not AWD, and its not the Scoooby Chassis... only the engine?
  6. Kosy, there's a very good chance that it will fit mate, I have a Newage Prodrive back box on my car just now, only difference is that you can only use 2 of the 3 hangers, because the 3rd hanger is on the wrong side. you can get it welded, or just leave it, as I have... its been though at least 2-3 MOTs and never been mentioned. they worst that you'll get on an MOT though would be a advisory, they wouldn't make you change it. IIRC, the Classic BB wont go onto a Newage without cutting the 3rd hanger off (and/or moving it to the other side) because it fouls something... Edit to say that the New age system is longer, I think the BB is slightly longer than a Classic one... But you'll be good to go!
  7. Looking good billy, although, you could always paint the Subaru Writing (For a bit of detail)....
  8. Ah marvelous, I was going to text you earlier today too Kenn... But you've seen it so alls good!
  9. Sorted! Cheers for that loon!`
  10. I got some in Aberdeen (Gt. Northern Road) the other day, and at least when I asked, they said that there shouldn't be a problem them having it in a few days time... I'll see as I might go and top up just in case...
  11. Its millers that I use, but I forget which bottle it is though...
  12. PMSL!!!!!!!!
  13. Pestered? Wow, thats being polite... I think that what I've been doing boarders more on Harrasment!!!!! Serious though, about bloody time too! I've been on at you at LEAST 3 years to get them changed and WOW what a difference its made! I'm also glad that you have taken the step up to the 18's too, as I think that newages suit them better... also, the Silver is pretty refreshing on your car too...
  14. I haven't even tried to refuel this week... Hope that I'm not going to be stuffed when I actually need it...
  15. I think that tyres are very much horses for courses... John Mentioned liking Miclelans, and I've run on them before, hated them. Matty meniotned liking RE050s and I hated them too... Toyos were... ok... I wasn't amazed by them, but I dont think that they were a bad tyre... But I'm all for The Eagle F1s I've just swapped from GSD3s onto Assymetrics, and generally the D3s need to be scrubbed in for a 100 or so miles but once they are scrubbed in they are great! I assum the Assys are the same, although I only got them on the other day, and ive not had a chance to test them yet... Edit to add, that sometimes, what works for one car, wont work for another.... I've used all these on my 2 imprezas so theres not been too much difference in conditions...
  16. So theres Shell being as useful as a Chocolate Fire-guard again then...
  17. And thats what I like about keith's Shell Station, they are not in any way retards, and you can gennerally get a bit of banter with them... (Oh, and their prices are not complete b******s either...) in other news, I've used T99 and I wasn't overly impressed, so I just stick with V-Power, each to their own though... v-power is also easier to get versus the 1 station in Aberdeen that sells T99, there's no question really... (especially as I'm not keen on mixing my fuel all the time)
  18. Try AWD perth too mate, thats where I got my ones from, and got a decent deal IIRC....
  19. Theres another store in Aberdeen, but then I also know a few places that might have it anyways... its no worries, this is the least of my problems at the moment... Cheers though!
  20. Well this is something because I was in Halfrauds yesterday looking for it, but then I could only see the Crappy own brand stuff stacked high... I was needing some more... I may have to get up to another store...
  21. Ive used the RainX Screen wash* in the past, and its the best screen wash that I think I've used thus far... also, Bosh Blades are... OK... I use them every year, because I HAVE to get new ones every year, because they wont last any better than that, and every year I say that I'm going to get different ones, then they disintegrate and I end up having to get them from Hafrauds because I cant see out... I went to get some of the Aeroblades from Subaru when I got the MOT, but they said that they couldn't get them to fit... They also said that they had never tried them on a classic before, because no one had ever asked before... I want the PIAA ones, but was also wondering from anyone who have used the Sparco ones too, just how good the Sparco ones are Vs the PIAAs... *This stuff is the way forward, goes in your washer bottle, and is a rain repellent.
  22. There's a guy also I think in Kintore or Kemnay thats Supposed to be just as good as Kinghorn, but I forget the name... If I can find out I'll post it up...
  23. Oh and make sure that the car is very warm before the MOT too, as the cats work best when they are hot...
