Oh yes! Got some tints done on the rears and got measured up for new graphics  Hopefully they will be fitted in a couple of weeks.

My wife takes NO interest in what I do with the car. I try to get her to come to KH and stuff: not interested. If you go to the Falkirk Wheel, DON'T go on it, it's boring, ha! However, there is a really nice resturant there, just built. Also, the canals and water ways make for a nice setting and the wheel is kinda cool to watch. With some luck you will get some nice weather and you can go a stroll around, also a gift shop there. Just get her to sit in the car when you go to pay the bill in the office that, along with the previouly paid-for nice meal will surely minimise, if not eradicate any notion of reciprocal spending

I know that the primary function is not to add more neagtive camber, but the fitting of the ALK does provide that as a by-product I guess is what I was trying to say. All the other stuff you said went WOOSH! right over my head! Ha! I guess that's what I get for being a dunder-heid! At the end of the day, after fitting, it felt like a different car. It's really well balanced now, no washouts atthe front and no tail-snappy moments either. That could be down to my tame track-driving style! Thanks for the other info, I'll memorise that and spout it at meetings and pretend I know what I'm talking about and if poeple say, "oh what do yo mean?" I'll respond, "Look, if you don't get that, I don't have time to explain it to you." And I'll march off like a know-it-all

You turn washing a car into a science!!!!! I think I'll stick to doing it as I usually do, besides, those big mitts look a bit gay!!! That said, I use one for the wheels cause it's easier to get into all the nooks and crannies with it, but firstly I make sure no one is watching! LOL!

LOL Private joke I take it...
-
Yeah, I know the feeling, I hate waiting but it will be worth it

Jeez man! Can't belive you are driving your car into 1.5 boost-land with induction and sports cat fitted without being mapped! I'd be inclinded to drive off-boost until it was mapped.

Me! Great mod especially for track use. I no longer experience understeer since having it fitted. Also, with the ALK you can add more neagtive camber to your fronts which again gives much better grip at the front end. Just turn the car in and feel it stick to the road- great!

I feel your pain my friend and although I got my standard box re-built to standard spec, it is as you say, not the best option. I suppose you could go down that route and never track the car again; that is what I'm supposed to be doing (yeah right). Also the PPG price of 2.5k is parts only, then you'd be another few hunner notes on top of that for rebiulding your existing box. I'm sure you'd likely be over 3 grand for that. Sadly there is no real easy or cheap solution. How about trying to get a 2nd hand replacement and use it until you can save enough for something a bit stronger. Or, use the money that you'd spend on the cheap box toward the PPG kit and put the rest on your CC? My hope is to pick up a 6-speed STi box at some point, but I'll have to change the diffs and prop-shafs; or to go down the PPG route. Either way, its not going to happen any time soon.

Ouch! Glad no one was hurt. What part of the track is that?

Nice on Kev. I have my ARB on order from Hypertech and awaiting the call to go in and get hooked up! Tell Dunc I'm looking forward to it Also, are you getting the powder-coated ARBs or just the standard finish? Lastly, what does "the two bucket method" mean? I know that it obviously involves two buckets, but in what way? I usually powerwash the car, then wash one side with the sponge, rinse it, then do the other side. I do the wheels and flaps last with what is left in the original bucket. Anyway, enlighten me! Oh and... next purchase, Big spolier Let us know how you get on at Hypertech and how you like the new handling, look forward to hearing all about it. J

Hi mate, welcome aboard. Nice car and I really like those wheels

I have experienced boost-cut as the car was over-boosting due to a uprated turbo with no remap! I had it installed and was waiitng to get the map done and I got a little carried away and put the boot down. Felt like a hit the wall and the CEL came on.

Flat4online too: Click here

That was my guess but I know NOTHING, so it's not that Does boost-cut not feel like the car is hitting a wall rather than just a power loss?
-
Ach your making me feel bad... I'll have another go at it! But, its really not that great

Cisco you mean. Most employers are looking for vendor qualifications these days, so Cisco is a good move.

Wasters man. Hopefully when they grow up and get married and have a nice car, the neds of their day will trash it. A$$wipes!

Mines look fine but sounds crap. I dunno why I bought another Kenwood when that was the crap that came out of it. The first one I bought (can't remember the brand) sounded really good even with the standard speakers but the radio didn't work. Took it back and bought the Kenwood pash. Installed uprated speakers and it still sounds gash, buzzing here there and everywhere. Waste of money. Probably goign to haveto get them ripped out and reinstalled correctly.

LOL! I might give it another bash later.
-
Nice little touch that.
-
Agreed! I Particularly like the wheels on your car, plus some other tasteful little additions that makes the car unique. Nice one!

You know too much, you need to get out more!

A few of you have asked me to post footage of the first GLA run of the year via PM and I have been promising to do that. I set out to do it tongiht and spent over two hours on it only for the POS computer to hang as I was about to render the finished project. That was the beginning of the troubles; the computer just hung and wouldn't respond to any keystroks at all, I decided after waiting for about 15 minutes to power off the system. Six power on/offs later (I HATE computers) the POS came back to life. The end of the matter is that all the work I did on it was lost and I have no desire to sit through all that footage again! So sorry, due to technical difficulties, there will be no video - very sorry Maybe next time...
