  1. Ach, nae cash left... If ever you are upgrading though, gimme first shout on it will ya? Who knows, maybe by that time I will be better finacially placed to take it off your hands. My other alternative would be to buy PPG's 1 - 4 gears and get them fitted but that's about 3 grands worth. Depressing
  2. Listen, I have taken too many leafs out of yours and that Peter's book as it is! I don't need any more leafs thanks! I was happy with my 230 bhp and my Prodrive back box till you and that other swine got a hold of me, now look at me! I'm ruined, ruined I tell you! What's happening with my gear box? <--------- SEE!
  3. 340+ bhp and 400 torquey things 6 track days and standard clutch is still going strong! That is about the only thing I haven't broke. No doubt it'll go tomorrow
  4. Yeah it does, I really miss mine but I'm not going to risk another £100+ on a new one. Besides, I don't have the cash anyway Post some pics of it.
  5. Me too, stop posting these d4mn depressing threads!!!!
  6. Great pics Scot - I mean Scott <--- that's 2 T's
  7. You're taking this too far!
  8. Same here. I don't think you wil hear any ill comments about him or his work.
  9. Thanks gents! Yes Colin, all sorted
  10. Yours is an import though, that might affect the comparable size of the rest of ours
  11. Aye, maybe not that far out, but something along those lines becasue the front end of the Hawkeye minus the splitter jsut doens't look right! That would maybe help, a little, who knows?
  12. Ah yes, the Hawkeyes changed the shape of the sump to a narrower deeper design to prevent that very thing, kinda like a pyramid shape with a flattened top.
  13. Aye see, nae worth it man. I was thinking about something like you see on the DTM cars, like a flat piece of plastic... like this: Finishes off the front end, but doesn't make it any lower.
  14. Hahaha!
  15. I'll have a look now, but funds are low after sorting out cash for my tints, ARB and graphics, but will perhaps take the plunge in the near future, cheers mate. Cheers mate!
  16. Well that isn't hard to belive. On the way home on Saturday I saw around 10 cars strewn all over the place; cops everywhere. As I was going Glasgow bound traffic slowed, as I got closer there was a car by the side of the road with a bus in front of it with a cop car in attendance, a few meters from there was another car with people attending it, still further, about a 1/4 of a mile there was a car on the Ayr bound side of the carriage-way high up on the enbankmank with the driver emerging from it, then a little bit further yet another car, this time a woman and again on the anbankment of the Glasgow side. There was damage to the central barrier in a couple of different places. Police cars where coming down the road from all angles. I can't say that all these incidendts were related as they were too far apart but there must have been at least three seperate accidents all happening in the space of a few minutes. It might have been caused by the weather as the rain was torrential at that time. Then! As I got nearer Glasgow there was another accident involving at least 5 cars on the Ayr-bound side! One was overturned on the middle of the road and burnt out. There where at least 4 other cars all around with smashed this and that. Carnage man. The Ayr side was shut and the traffic tailed back for miles. Must have been a while as people were out of there cars walking around and talking and stuff. On our side was the fire engine and some police cars, so we were down to one lane and passing at around walking pace. The road had been closed at the big roundabout where the new EK road meets the M77 and traffic was being diverted onto the old road.
  17. LOL, me too. What's a baffle plate for?
  18. What does this do? Where does it go? And I take it Nobles did a better job than the other dealer you visited? Glad you're sorted
  19. Nice touch... Great shots John and FPC.
  20. Solid droppies front and rear, Tein Superstreet COs and ALK. As I said before, jsut waitin' on the call from uncle Dunc to get the rear ARB fitted. I'm getting it powder-coated in Subaru purple, the first of its kind - Extra 25 notes for that, but fitting is free, so why the hell not? Ha!
  21. Always is. I can't belive how grippy my car is. There was a SLK 200 ahead of me tongiht on the back road and he floored it when he saw me in his mirrors. Silly person I followed suit in 4th gear hugging the bends like I was on rails - great stuff!
  22. Alan, I just picked it up at Stewarton (or around where they start), and came off a good bit before the Prestwick Round about and there was new 50MPH limit signs up My sat-nav was still warning me that I was in a 70 zone. That was as far as I went.
  23. Cheers man!
  24. No worries about the Qs mate, glad to assist. Yes, there is a whole range available, and he went through them all with me. In the end I asked for a shade that was between the two he suggested and he came up with that too. Also, when I was in there, a guy was getting his RX8 done and like you, he asked for legal tints on the fronts. They guy told him that there aren't really any legal tints but he'd fit them at the driver's risk. He also offered the guy a graduated effect from the rears to the fronts so that the difference was blended instead of a marked difference. After the fitting, he went through all the care instructions with me etc. etc. I dunno much he will charge for all 5 windows though, did you ask? J
