  1. I think the stars on the rear quarter would look good a long with the Orange DC shoes livery... I know how that is going to be greeted!
  2. LOL! Will do ma-man!
  3. Wow! That was a lucky escape, can't be too careful. I was changing wheels recently and the car rolled forward and toppled the trolly jack! It was on a decline on my drive and I was lucky I didn't have a hand near it! Handbrake was on but the back wheels where jacked up, such a stupid a55! Glad your ok, and thankful it was only your bumber that needs repaired, that is a lot less painless than a couple of broken knee-caps!!!!
  4. Yeah, that is what I was trying to say in the original reply, I just didn't realise that the Spec C had other fancy bits. Also, your 3rd Cat delete on the Hawkeye is actually the 2nd cat delete as there is no cat in the up pipe.
  5. Chris, I think the full system will fit. I know that the pipe between the downpipe and the centre-res section (usally called 3rd Cat Delete) are different lengths, but AFAIK, the over all length of the entire system is the same.
  6. You're near me mate aren't you? If it's jsut for comparisons sake, you can come and have a look at mine if you want.
  7. Japan's sun rising over Glasgow... I'm not sure about that. Also the blue car and the red sun just wont go.
  8. It just dawned on me... the more elaborate the design is, it is less likely that it can be done in vinyls, it would have to be a wrap. A wrap costs at least £1500!!! So that is clearly a no go area.
  9. Are you sure Gus, do you think you will keep the car long enough to use another set or two:
  10. Well, if I was to go down the rising sun route, then why not a Japanese skyline? The blue paint job screws a lot of it up too... stupid blue cars!
  11. Don't suppose they have a surplus of STi 6-speed gearboxes do they? Wouldn't mind one of those for a tenner! Seriouly though, good news - brake pads for under a tenner, you can't ask for nore than that without being mad or greedy or both
  12. Haha! I would LOVE that but it would cost a fortune! When I was looking for a plate before I found W6LSH and it was 5 grand! That's a PPG gear box, a new turbo, and remap. With change left over for a few track days! I would love it though Is there a link for it?
  13. Oh where were you two weeks ago!!!
  14. Who does that? The guy I used before was talking about a grand for soemthing like that. Here is what I was referring to in the last post... sort of:
  15. Well! It's certainly something different and "out of the box". Defo a lateral move. Yes I do like it. Is it "in yer face" enough... maybe not, but I'm sure with some numbers and motor sport brands added, it might be If its a work in progress, it would be interesting to see the finished article, but in saying that, I don't want you going to loads of trouble on my account. Defo an Idea I never thought of, I'm going to show it to the missus and see what she says. Thanks for your efforts mate, very touched Edit: I have set it as my desktop so that I see it all the time. I was thinking: what about the moon sitting lower in the skyline and with a slight orange tinge to it. Then, some of the biuldings with lights on and touches of the orangey glow, on the edges of the biulldings... or am I taking it too far?
  16. Not forgetting the chocolate gear boxes too!
  17. Shame on you. You shall be dragged outside, beaten within an inch of your life then put before a firiing squad at dawn!
  18. Second that! Welcome along, enjoy your stay
  19. Yeah, but not you Welcome mate!
  20. £100. Saturday morning,
  21. That might explain why mine went pop...
  22. Camber does: because the top part of the wheel is pushed in further than the lower part so to speak, the contact patch has more weight on it in the inside than on the outside. The outcome is inner-tread wear. I know this because my front tyres were gubbed on the inside while the rears were fine.
  23. The anti lift kit prevents the front-end from lifting basically. When you accelarate hard the front end unloads causing it to go light, this means less traction and not soemthing you want especially going into a corner. The ALK helps minimise this and also allows for a greater range of camber on the front wheels as well, giving more front grip and reduces understeer. That said, I do not use the full range of camber available, because it quickly wears the inside tread of the tyres.
  24. Yeah it does, but I'm not a Moto GP or Rossi fan, so it would be kinda pointless, for me anyway.
  25. Much do they charge for rear side windows and rear windscreen?
