  1. LOL. That's the only trouble when getting some new bits... the extra cost on fuel becasue of the need to drive the car all over the place.
  2. wooo cool picture... has that been Photoshopped? Car looks in good nick for its age. How does run/drive with all those miles on it? Good luck, enjoy it
  3. Yeah, they really do. I was loo0king at the front of my car tonight and it just doesn't look good or right. Need to try and come up with a solution other than a splitter cause that would be another £160 down the tubes.
  4. Thanks guys, I eventaully took a trip to Halfrauds and got it. £24, a bit steep. It came with the lube stuff, a mocrofibre cloth, polish and the clay. Thanks for the help. J
  5. Well now, getting a bit personal there, aren't we?!
  6. LOL - Been there!
  7. Where can I get a hold of this stuff in Glasgow. I thought Halfrauds at first, but I don't think they do that sort of thing, do they? I don't want to order online unless its a next day delivery; I hate waiting you see! Cheers!
  8. Someone recommended Diamond Tints in Rutherglen so I went down and got the rear windows done: £100. Took about 2.5 hours and a good job at the end if the day. Guy is friendly and chatty. Downside: They don't have facilities to take cards, so cash only I'm afraid.
  9. Yeah, all over Ayrshire. At the end of the A77, they have dropped the limit from 70 to 50 - real genius I have never seen the Truvelo forward facing cameras in Scotland either. I don't think we have them.
  10. I'm getting an ARB fitted by Hypertech also. Duncan suggested rear only, 24mm in the middle setting. Hope that helps
  11. Splendid shots - you even got some "wheel lifting" action!
  12. You don't have a clue about Scoobies, yet you know what a Air Contrl Valve is? Jeez mate, your much more clued up than me, but that isn't saying much. Why dont you try posting up some pics of the problem area to see if anyone can suggest a fix.
  13. Is that a technical job?
  14. Oh right, I see. I take it if you were just doing the clutch, you could do that by taking the gearbox out then?
  15. Ah! I see, that would explain it. Poor guy - Another great set of pics Some awesome cars, how much would I LOVE a shot behind the wheel of one of those bad boys!
  16. Thought about these before, but 1. They don't look right on a blue car, 2. I do not have a single Cusco mod on my car, so it wouls seem rather silly. In saying that though, I don't wear DC shoes either! But that said, the SC Shoes branding is a recognised Rally car livery, so it is a kindof copy, if you know what I mean. I hope so, cause I don't, haha!
  17. so why is that engine out of there like that? Can't belive how immaculate that looks! And OH! I can see my new gear box poking out LOL!
  18. Jeezo, how did you dig this one out from such a long time ago?!
  19. Great pics. I wonder what this guy was doing to end up in the wall like that! He must have been carrying about 200mph through there, and pointed the car over the left apex and used it as a ramp to launch it! No doubt I'll make someone angry with that comment, just seems like a weird place to go off in that manner.
  20. Rears, especially on a silver car: Yes! Fronts: not for me, all those little bulbs look a bit weird. I'm sure they'd look better in the flesh though and they do look pretty cool lit up! You went to the trouble of covering up your number plate on the front pics but forgot to on the rears
  21. Hey Neil Is that a pictue of your car in your Avatar? Looks cool, have you got the full-sized job? I'll get back to you if I need the files. Thanks again
  22. Well now, that's a shame. Sorry to hear that man. I can only speak for the Glasgow side of things and their are no cliques there. In fact, I have gone "cross-border" and found members on the other side to be both very friendly and helpful. I'd give it another go if I were you mate. Why don't you post a list up of what you need on another thread and people will happily advise you, I'm sure of it. J
  23. All I can say is that I have taken some ideas from this, some from DC shoes, some from SWRT added a little of my own spin... watch this space..... Thanks for the efforts Neil mucho appreciated.
  24. Just a couple of beers! LOL!
  25. Nice one. Welcome mate. Watch out in the Events section for meets in Glasgow. They take place on hte first Thursday of every month.
