  1. Er OK! Even better. If I doesn't work out I can go back to the standard one. Will it do the MY06? Cheers Colin
  2. Having read that article, it appears that the "order" applies only to those soldiers in Edinburgh becasue it presents a hearing issue. There is no indication that 1) The directive came from Brussells (it came from the MOD); 2) That it applies univerally to all people in all places. That said, I am still with the consensus here that this country sucks, thanks not to Brussells, but directly to the tw@ts in grey suits who are controlling everything; our country and our lives our freesodms. I'd say that "those across the pond" are the ones who are controlling our society. Democracy = freedom - what a load of clap-trap. How people fall for that bull poop is beyond me. Oh dear, another rant... I'm going for a lie down and my exhuast is going NO WHERE!
  3. Yip, then you can sell the PPG kit and the 2.5 block when the old car falls to bits around about it
  4. Takes a wee while to get it to that temp, but thanks for posting that because I often wondered. My car seems to run at 97 during normal use... is that too high d'you think? Don't spose there are any pics/tutorials to help with the removal/drilling of the thermostat? I wouldn't know the first place to look.
  5. Thanks guys. I know the car you are talking about, I was going to copy that guys graphics; chequered design in light blue on the back if I remember. I will have a look at both links in a bit.
  6. Awesome!!!! Do it! Do it! Do it!
  7. There is something perverse and wrong abut that! Also, even if I liked it, I'd never buy it at that price! You can buy a Newage Sti for that!
  8. Well done... is he a member on here?
  9. Is it "Great mind think alike" OR "Fools seldom differ"?
  10. tell me more about this please!!!!!
  11. I see your point, but an invalid one. Firstly wing mirrors are not sharp and secondly wing mirrors would fold in on impact and spare the poor pedestrian. I really want one of those splitters though, those look fantastic! I'll bet they can be that hard to make either!
  12. Lovely and love it! Not keen on the auto box though. I'd love to own a BMW - but only as a 2nd car. That means of course that it will never happen Enjoy it and be sure to post up some more pics once you have detailed it.
  13. Very welcome
  14. I never get this kind of thing. Usually, when I get close to people on the motorway, they move over and sometimes even when I don't want/expect them too. The only time people have a go is on the very odd occasion when I nip into the inside lane to get ahead of traffic queues at lights. Last night a guy in a Citreon Xantia tried it... tut tut.
  15. Ha Cool! One of those might come in useful for the local neds... pass on the hire comany's number will you?
  16. What bits? The front or side bits? I relaly like the front bit, looks kinda like the DTM look and isn't the speed-hump bashing height of a splitter. I wonder if those are avaialble for the Hawkeye. EDIT: I did a search on Google and found out that the canards are the bits at the side. I also found out that Scott Lowe do that splitter thing as well - but only for the Bugeye; and at £248 be given that a miss I think.
  17. I take it you chased him then?
  18. Yip. Got my wheels done there a while back and they did a great job... will be back again if required.
  19. Who has a picture of what these are - canards...what?
  20. Fling a matress in Sorry...
  21. Waste of metal too.
  22. Ah! Well, at least you have invested wisely
  23. I think its more to do with the current climate mate; fuel prices, road tax, credit cruch etc. that is holding back your sale. I can't say if the car is incorrectly priced though as I have no idea about current market value for classics (or Newages really!).
