  1. Yes, best time to check it is in the morning before you start it up.
  2. LOL! I know; a regular soap opera...
  3. Nice one, good resolution
  4. Don't listen to him, he's just bitter and twisted cause he doens't have one I see you took the stickers off, I kinda liked those. Ah well, looks the biz and it is well looked after - you got a great car there.
  5. I'll try not too Yeah I know. Just when you think, "My car is sorted" you think, "It can be even more sorted". Incidentally, when I got the car, I said to myself and several others, "Modding is not for me, no need, not interested, I'm happy with it the way its is". That was about 8 grand ago - LOL!
  6. Much better TBH, I can't really fault the Tein ones, but then again, it's not like I have a vast experince of anything car-realted let alone specifiics like coilovers. The car handling is fantastic, so I can't say more than that, Lovin' it!
  7. Haha! Well it's difficult to say until I take it on the track, but having said that, I went for a very spirited blast on the back roads close to were I stay and the car does feel more secure; feels like it is glued to the road in the bends. The car is fantastic, I absolutely love it! All I need now is a PPG kit and then I can think about a bigger turbo!
  8. No, it's just a Whiteline uprated job, 24mm. It was powdercoated in that colour after purchase, then fitted
  9. Now you tell me!
  10. Yes please! At this rate, if I put togeher all the promises of shots in Classics, it will be like owning one!
  11. WRX Spot lights, that light blue paint job, 17 inch PF7 wheels finished in a chrome colour and other stuff, oh yes, and a badge!
  12. Don't you mean you wouldn't??? Anyway, be interested to see how this turns out, cause I am getting a similair condition. Just as a approach boost, I get a loud hissing/sucking sound, htne when I gear shift or lift off, it wooshes a bit like a dump valve, but as intense. It started doing that since I get it remapped with the bigger turbo, but today it was louder than usual. Dunno if this has anything to do with driving it hard last night. Oops sorry to jump on your bandwagon Rober!
  13. Just back from Hypertech after getting the rear ARB fitted (24mm middle setting). As you can see from the pics, it is powder coated in lovely STi pink! First of its kind Also, Duncan kindly took me for a spin in the new MY08 STi and it was a lot of fun. Car seems well planted but comfortable, quiet (ish) and very very quick! Also, the look and feel of the cabin is nicer and better quality than pervious models. Couple of pics?
  14. A bit pricey eh?
  15. LOL, cheers mate!
  16. Ah yes, remember it now - very nice!
  17. I'd LOVE that! I have a wedding that day, so can't drive on track, but I'll see you there ma man!
  18. Mines are the cheapest ones without the mounts: £650 plus fitting. I think it was £850 all in, including geometry. Plus they are hieight adjustable and you can also firm the ride up with the hex-key at the top. Not done either though as you need to take out the back seats to get at them. As I said, not too rough on the road either, but the car defo feels planted under you.
  19. LOL, I know the feeling mate. Feels like a brand new car huh? Happy days! What car are you driving again?
  20. OK. will look for a Central meet and if I'm free I'll pop along. Shame you can't do the Thursday nights though, yer missn' oot!
  21. Still never driven one (Classic) so can't say. A man with a Classic once promised me a shot of his: still wating
  22. I use them mate. They are not too bad for road use and do the job on the track. I can't say that there was a staggering difference between them and the Tein lowering springs - but its hard to say.
  23. Ha! i just remembered that my old adress is on the bloody V5! What a tool!
