  1. There use to be a black one but don't know if it is still on it.
  2. Ian also give a 12 month guarantee on his discs against warping even for track use.
  3. I running Godspeed discs on both and no complaints, avoid EBC I had a set warp and know of a couple other that had the same. Mintex 1144 or Ferrodo DS2500 pads are good. Also heard AWD are good for brakes but not used them.
  4. Nice to see you took your time and got a good example. Will have to pop round for a look. Robert
  5. Don't think Chris will every be finished. He told that was it back in March.
  6. Is it the V-Power rewards card, if so you register online with Shell Rewards you can choose what you get airmiles, vouchers, etc. I get the money vouchers for fuel every 3 months.
  7. Glasgow/Strathclyde Meet see Scottish Scoobies Events for details.
  8. I'll text my mate tomorrow, he had someone remove and replace mine when he did the stone chips on the roof edge.
  9. Hi and welcome, just wondered were you at Alford 3 years ago? You bug looks similar to the one that won the show n' shine. No kit, the roof was white and wheels were silver.
  10. Actually like the new layout, I seem to remember every forum change over has had complaints and then we all get use to the new one.
  11. That'll be 4 litres of V-Power then, would be as gallon but that would take me over the £5 limit.
  12. Have let Mandy know, we have nothing on that weekend, babysitter booked, so good to go. Will book up over the weekend.
  13. Have you tried heating it with a hairdryer to see if it softens?
  14. Not bad, was going to come over and talk to you and Lesley at the Wheel meet but never got a chance. Ian Greive gave me the option of getting them replaced or removed, having it happen once I opted to get them removed, temp wise I was told it wouldn't make a massive difference to underbonnet temperatures so never wrapped the up-pipe. Might be worth it when going down the modding route but as my car is only PPP I didn't bother. They did a geometry setup to check steering was alright. Wasn't until I took the car to Kenny Brown's in Hillington a while later that I found out I have a very slight curve in the rack (had to force the steering to make the turn), doesn't affect the car at all just has to be factored in when the setup is done.
  15. Might have been me Rich. Happened to me on the newage couple of years ago, jammed the steering as I turned left. Wasn't going fast but still got the heart racing.
  16. Might be a silly question have you checked the wires into the connector for the ecu and sensor. If a bypass was run it would be tied in after coming out the connectors. If everything has been replaced and Andy and Steve can't see anything i might be something really simple. Just thinking back to a starting problem that Richie had in his Type R when he had an intermitant starting problem, tried everything to solve the problem (ecu swap, starter, etc) until he found a tiny break in a wire in the connector to the ecu. Hope you get it sorted. Robert
  17. The second one is the same one I have in the Type R and it works fine.
  18. I have mine fully open make life more interesting. You'll get use to the Type R it's just a bit different form most things you'll ever drive.
  19. Hi & welcome. I work with your mate Grant, he mentioned today you'd joined the forum. Robert
  20. I'd take it in yourself and get someone to come out on a test drive with you to hear the noise. It is a well known problems and plenty people on here including me have been back to Ian Grieve to get them fixed.
  21. Sorry meant times, with different cars, power, setup and tyres. Hopefully I'll get along as a spectator to a couple of events, never know I might get the bug and want to join in.
  22. Enjoying this thread Arch, amazing how close the class is.
  23. We should be back to fund your project next month now the Glasgow runs have finished.
