  1. He's got some balls to put that tank slapper to the back of his mind & carry on with the rest of the lap! Specialy as it's the first corner of the track! I'd defo be stopping to change my pants! some guy! Is there a video of the complete lap?
  2. If you can manage to fit the typhoon kit yourself you'll easy manage to run that pipe in, There's loads of room once you take the massive airbox out. They'll easy manage to map it without the cold feed pipe but the best case scenario is to have as much cold air feeding the filter as you can. You'll be impressed with the noise the kit makes, sounds awesome. What exhaust have you on your car & who's mapping it? My turn for the questions
  3. i thought about doing away with my foglight & putting in one of them trumpet type air vents in but decided against it, managed to get the pipe in beside instead. something like this might do you? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Flexi-Induction-Cold-Air-Intake-Duct-Pipe-Clamp-/270698737791?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f06e6f07f I dont have ant pics of mine sorry. The plastic covers come off easy, i'm sure you could pick up a spare one & use it incase it all goes pete tong!
  4. The fresh air duct on the front panel doesn't fit with the typhoon kit, i did look to modify mine to make it fit but the heatsheild you get with the kit stops it. Just ran in a seperate cold air pipe from down beside the foglamp. My car is out of warranty now. Was told to remap it after i fitted the induction kit so had that done to.
  5. Fit like! Maybe see you about the town at some point
  6. My first subaru was a green classic, didn't really plan on buying a green one, but one came up at the right time & money. It was a cracking car! Here's a few pics of it.
  7. It took my storeman at work about a week to try & get hold of someone there & when he finally did they didn't have the parts in stock, it was only a set of wiper blades for my hatch!
  8. Car looks sweet! Think if you got the black headlights that would finish the front end off just perfect, think they were an option on the hawk eyes? Or i've heard of guys taking them to bits & painting the inserts! Think theres an option for de-chromed tail lights too?
  9. I think a black car looks well when everything is black on it, wheels, windows, grilles like marko said above. Makes for a really stealthy looking car! Think they call it the murdered out look
  10. Thats just a wrx exhaust you've posted the pic up of, the sti is alot different to that one! Not to sure what the ppp exhaust is? Maybe someone else on here has one fitted to their hatch?
  11. I'm not sure what he's charging to do the windows these days? But i did hear he's getting hassle from the police so he's not doing front windows anymore. The springs were a caker to fit, i'm a mechanic so i would say that. But if you know the basics you'll easy manage, just a set of spring clamps! It's not mega low, just sits spot on, I lowered mine before i even started running it but can't fault the handling now. Give me a shout when your back in the deen & you can have a looky if your needing!
  12. I got mine done from Paul from Zen motorsport through Brian Downie, Andy forrest did my last car i had, can't fault any of those guys work! The hatch feels mega quick now after getting it done! and its peace of mind knowing it's set up properly for the exhaust & filter. Monster, Have you an exhaust on your one?
  13. I've got that typhoon kit on my car, it sounds sweet, you really hear the turbo working think i got my from potn online. Defo need to get your car mapped once you've fitted it. It wont affect the mot unless you fully de-cat it!
  14. Fit Like! Nice to see another hatch in the deen, good choice mate! If your needing your windows done, Give Scott at motorwerks a shout, he'll sort you out! I wouldnt use a steamer to de-badge it, i took the sti badge off mine, just used the girlfriends hairdryer to soften up the glue on the badge & pulled it off, some tar & glue will take off the sticky stuff thats left behind. I'd give Brian Downie a shout if your wanting some more power, he knows his stuff & can easy sort out anything your needing. I've got tein springs in mine, sits real nice & still comfy to drive!
