  1. Well a big thanks to Peter for hosting the Charity Meal, think everyone really enjoyed themselves. I'm still typing up the prize list as we received few more on the night. Thanks to SW Motorsport, Hypertech, Greersport, Meercat, RA Developments, Ian Grieve and all the members that donated gifts, also to everyone who bought tickets we raised £700 from the raffle. It's late and I'm absolutely stuffed so bedtime so I'm ready to buy toys today. :waving-santa: Robert
  2. All becomes clear, checked Paypal and received the money from Mary signed Mark and couldn't work out who it was. Ended up putting Mary's name on the back of the tickets and putting them in the draw. Sorry no winner this time I will get the full list of prizes and winners posted later. Robert
  3. Get your trunks on man. So how many raffle tickets will I put you down for. :biggrinsanta:
  4. The upside is I drove home on deserted roads on Monday.
  5. Nice to have a volunteer to take over from Dale, the RO's forum is a lot suggestions for the future of the club.
  6. Friday 10th December 3pm will be the last time for tickets via Paypal, as I won't be back online after that before the meet.
  7. The charity run to Yorkhill Childrens Hosital will be taking place, see Scottish Scoobies events section for full details and times which will be posted soon. :waving-santa:
  8. Meeting has been posponed for a week due to the heavy snow, hopefully it will be better by the 9th. Usual Glasgow/Strathclyde Meet at the Harvester, Hillington 7.00 for 7.30. Last meet before Santa Cruise, Raffle tickets and hopefully car stickers will be available also looking for volunteers for the shopping trips. Full post in Scottish Scoobies events section.
  9. What the hell was I think, I must be mad. Well that's it offical I'm now the Chairman and can moderate you as I see fit. Dunk is right although we have 700 odd members we have very few active. Membership wise Karyn was getting 30-40 per month, there are lifetime members that account for the rest. Certainly the Scottish RO's have some good ideas for the club. We will be working hard to get a better understanding of the current position the club is in and seeing what we can implement to make it better. We will all be working hard over the coming months and will be updating members on any news.
  10. Thanks for the welcome Stu, obviously with lots of new committee members it will take a bit to find our feet but we will be working hard to make the club bigger and better.

  13. Few more prizes added.
  14. Most people move to coilovers as there is no real alternatives to KYB's. Have a look at BC coilovers, there is also AP (not the brake people) and V-maxx all about the same price but not heard much about these. Bit more expensive are Tein (although a few have had issues with these), Eibach and KW Variant 1 Then there are the real expensive Ohlins and Exe-tc. Alot of people are using the BC's. Hypertech can supply and fit and do a geo setup or shop around, fit them yourself and get a geo to save a bit more. Robert
  15. Up for next year, as long as that strange bloke wearing the tights isn't going.
  16. You can borrow mine and see if it fits. I'll bring it to the next Glasgow meet.
  17. Good advice mine read 82,700 when I was imported, it's now around 90,000 so I'm actually only at 59,000 miles. My speedo converter fits to the the back of the speedo, dead easy to fit and the sticker came with the converter.
  18. The annual charity meal host by Kwang Tung Chinese Restuarant and owner FAI17 (Peter) as part of our fund raising for Santa Cruise 2010. See Scottish Section for details. As part of the night we are holding a raffle tickets only £1 and some good prizes.
  19. Your right a White STI, I think it looks good with the wheels. Remember RB wheels are hard to get so are worth a bit might be better to sell them and get a set of white wheels. If you need a loan of wheels I have a spare set of gold 17" with good tyres if you need.
  20. Dave thanks for organising an excellent night, choice of venue was great. Big thanks to Gary & Bobby for proving the tunes, even if Gary did most of the work. I think the success of the event shows how good the club's Scottish scene is and next year definitely one for the calendar. Will post up some pictures later.
  21. Panel filter, S/S uppipe, S/S decat, S/S HKS exhaust, plugs, leads and a map by Andy.F on an Apexi. Run on V-power and NF Booster. Only mapped to 1.3 bar leaving a safety margin of 0.1 bar to allow for overboost when being used on track, I was seeing 1.36 bar on Sunday. Still on standard 16" wheels with road tyres (Falken 452's).

  23. Times now up for Crail my best 12.57 and terminal of 108.2. Not bad for a lightly modded Type R. Think I over did it a bit 29 runs in 4 hours.
  24. Looks like were going to have a full house. Remember to buy some raffle tickets, it's all for a good cause.
