I had looked at T/A OHW as I thought about Knockhill just for something a bit different from trackdays but the initial expense put me off. May consider it in the future but would like the car to have bigger brakes and more power. Will probably enter a few rounds of sprints once I get a brake upgrade as have notice when running Kames that my brakes are the weak point of the car.

I assume your looking at a brake upgraded. The STI (R180) hub won't fit a WRX (R160) as the driveshafts are different sizes. The backplate will and with a conversion kit will let you fit bigger brakes.

Is it a brand new engine or second-hand, supplied by you or the garage?

Two trackdays or one early bird special and that the fee paids for itself. Unfortunately I renewed in September at £30 so will need to do another trackday to cover mine, it's a hard life.

Great road, drove this on the Borders Run couple of years back, agree with reducing it near houses and businesses but 50mph for the length of it would be a nightmare. Also how many pay attention to the 60mph limit just now.

Best tyres I've had are the Goodyears F1's both the old style and new asymetric. I have Dunlop SP01's (came with the new wheels) on the car just now hard wearing have done 14k on them and still good life left in them, the only downside is I don't think they grip as well in cold or wet conditions.

Can you get tyres repaired after using the foam, guy in my work bought a spare wheel for his honda as he said you need a new tyre and can each time.
