robert_mcdermott Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Thank for all of the kind thoughts people. Sorry, but I don't think the test of this post is going to make much sense, I only found out about Ken's heart attack this morning when I got into work and read Chris' email. For those of you who didn't know him, all I can say is that Ken was one of the best guys I have ever met, simple as that. And it was his fault that Chris and I both have Scoobys after having a go in his! Nothing more to say. I have no words.
vicki Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 R.I.P Ken [] Here's hoping there are scoobys in heaven.

D4WGY Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Yet again it proves what a solid community we have going on here people. I never knew Ken and I'm sitting here welling up at some of the messages that have been posted. Here's to you Ken Shep
mctwistuk Posted June 22, 2006 Author Posted June 22, 2006 I know Ken would be touched by all the kind messages posted by everyone. I am going to print off the messages and pass them on to his family with a wreath of flowers. He was truly a gent and was a mentor for me at work. If it wasn't for him i wouldn't have been introduced to the whole Scooby experience. I thank him for this as everyone on here are truly kind people. Will be strange on Thursday at the meet as he was meant to be coming along with me. I thank you all on behalf of his family for your kindness.

seafar99 Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I find it really hard to read through these posts, as maybe like me most of us never knew Ken i would like to pass on my sympathies to his family and friends. craig.
Marky-San Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I only met Ken the once at a meet and we chatted aways for ages about the cars on display - we even had a wee blat on the dual carriageway on the way home. He kept in touch now and again due to my work the Original STI register - he was genuinely interested. Truly nice guy and such sad news to hear. I wish all his family and friends the very best during this sad time. My thoughts are definitely with you all.
